California Hearts (Teo Halm Fanfiction)

Chapter 1

Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep.

"Mnnph." Griffyn groaned. "Six in the morning. Summer. Why alarm on." She flopped around trying to turn off her alarm.

"Griffyn! Turn off your stupid alarm!" Aspen hissed from her room.

Three months ago Krystal moved into a house. Griffyn and Aspen finally had separate rooms upstairs. Even though they were on separate ends of the floor Aspen could still somehow hear Griffyn's alarm.

"I'm trying Aspen!" Griffyn snapped back. She rolled out of her covers and slapped the alarm off. "Grnhp." Griffyn sighed.

Light flooded into the room and temporarily blinded Griffyn. "Rise and shine, sunshine."

"Gah!" Griffyn put a pillow on her head and flipped away from the window. "Seriously Teo? It's like six in the moring."

"Uhhh yeah. Yes it is. Wow Griff, I'm proud. You can read digital clocks. Now get up." Teo tugged the pillow off her face.

"Teo! No! Sleeping!" She whined and tried to take her pillow back.

"Griffyn. Get up. C'mon. Please? I have something cool I wanna show you."

"Can this 'cool' wait? I'm trying to sleep if you haven't noticed." Griffyn hissed at her nagging boyfriend.

Teo pouted. "Okay." He said sadly and started leaving.

"Fine." Griffyn groaned. "I'll come see your 'cool'." She crawled out of bed and joined Teo in the window.

"Close your eyes." Teo said when they reached the ground.

Griffyn huffed. Six a.m. and she'd already done more exercise then she did in a week. Climbing out a second floor window isn't all fun.

"Fine." She said and shut her eyes.

Teo grabbed her hand and pulled her to the drive way. "Okay, open them."

Griffyn opened her eyes and saw a blue convertible in her driveway. "Sweet ride Teo." She said as she ran her hand across the side. "Why did I need to get up at six in the morning to see your car though?"

"It's not my car." Teo laughed.

Griffyn crossed her arms. "Then who's is it?" She asked a bit annoyed.

"Yours." Teo gave her a little peck on the cheek and stepped back.

She stood there taking in what just happened. 'Did he just get me a car? Why would he do that? What's happening? Is this car like mine mine? Or am I borrowing it?' She looked down at the keys in her hand. She tuned them over and saw the initials GT engraved on the back. 'Oh my god! Teo got me a car! Eeeeek!'

She looked over at Teo and hugged him. "Oh my god. Thank you so much Teo! I love you!"

"Love you too. Mind letting go though? I can't breath. Breathings nice." Griffyn smirked at Teo and released him.

"He did what?!" Katherine shrieked from across the bed.

"He got me a car Kit Kat!" Griffyn squeed.

"No way, lemme see." Griffyn dug around in her pocket and pulled out a set of keys. "Sweet." Katherine said lifting the keys. "Where's the car? How come I didn't see it when you guys picked me up from the airport?"

"It's in the garage. Wanna go see?"

"Oh my god yush!" Katherine jumped off the bed and raced down the stairs. "What took you so long?" Katherine asked out of breath.
