"I knew you'd be here" Gippal said softly, Rikku didn't turn around.
She nodded absently "It's not the same...I didn't wanna' to see it but I...I just"
"you had to know if it was still here right?" Gippal finished for her knowingly, sitting down next to her with a sigh.
This was their favorite spot...until he abandoned her, and the Guado destroyed their home...the old balcony was now a charred and crumbling pillar hardly big enough for them to sit on.
"I hate you" Rikku muttered darkly.
"I know..."
"I hate Seymour"
"I know..."
"This place's still the same."
Gippal frowned, "the balcony's gone, the buildings are gone...our childhoods are gone..."
"The sun's the same. Everything's still covered in sand ... It still feels like it's a million degrees...I'm still sweaty and covered in Machina Grease, still naive' enough to believe you love me... you're still surprisingly immature"
" you still walk around in a bra and act like you're attractive." Gippal muttered Crossley.
"You're stupid"
"You're stubborn"
"Your hair's ridiculous"
"Your whole life's ridiculous!"
"I hate you!"
"I hate you too!'
"I love you!"
"I love you too!"
They both grinned and realized that nothing had changed at all.
