"Hey Prince! Nice haircut bro!" A random guy called out. "Prince Jisung! You look so cool today, like you do everyday!" A girl said swooning. Jisung held his head up high as he walked down the hallway of Brightstone Prep. He turned to his best friend Hyunjin and said "Oh yeah, this is gonna be a great year." "Of course, after being voted Prince of Brightstone last year, you are starting off on a high and it's only our softmore year!" Hyunjin said. Hyunjin Hwang was extremely handsome and tall but more on the quiet artsy side, so while he was still very popular with the female student body he failed to outshine the triple threat that was Jisung Han. The showy Jisung came to Brightstone Prep last year and took the school by storm immediately despite it being his first year. He was handsome, outgoing and ridiculously talented in singing, dancing and acting. It comes at no surprise that he was instantly popular with the ladies, many girls even started a fan club dedicated to following him around and practically worshiping him. And while he was mostly popular for creative performances he also performed surprisingly well academically which made teachers and principals fall for him too. He was sitting pretty at the top of the high school food chain without a single competitor in sight, but no position can remain unchallenged forever.
As the two of them passed the front office a woman called out "Jisung Han! Can you please come here for a moment?" Jisung walked into the office and greeted the staff politely. "It's great to see you back here again this year Jisung. How have you been?" The office lady said. "I've been well, glad to be back at the best school in the country. My, have you changed your hair? You look even more lovely than usual." Jisung said charmingly. The office lady then blushed as she fumbled for a paper on her desk. Jisung heard a quiet scoff and turned to see where it came from. As he turned, a boy around his height stood up from one of the waiting chairs. He wore his blue black hair loosely and unstyled with small, silver hoop earrings in both ears. Jisung stood there motionless as he stared at the boy. 'How can someone be both pretty and handsome?' he thought. The boy had a pretty and small face with pouty lips and then a broad strong nose and piercing big brown eyes that made him look like the male lead in a kdrama. "Oh I almost forgot why I brought you in here! This is Minho Lee. He's a senior but it's his first day here and I was hoping you could show him around and make him feel welcome. Who better to show the school than the Prince himself?" The office lady said as she smiled brightly. Minho's eyebrows raised at the word 'Prince' and he turned to Jisung with a bit of a teasing smirk on his face. Jisung laughed nervously. "Minho is also joining us here to study with the fine arts department so please show him the ins and outs of the department and resources." She added as she handed Jisung a copy of Minhos schedule. They walked down the hall together for a few minutes not saying anything. "So... Minho, you are here for the fine arts department, what is it that you specialize in?" Jisung asked finally. "Dance. Sorry what was your name again? All I can remember is Prince." Minho said smirking. Jisung smiled a bit embarrassed for some reason as he replied "Jisung. Prince is just kind of like student body President. I'm not even sure how that name came about really." "I mean I get it." Minho said looking Han up and down. Jisung felt himself blush a little as he was being checked out. He cleared his throat and said "I dance as well, maybe we will see each other." "I hope so." Minho said seriously as they walked. They were late to their classes because of chatting in the office so the hallways were clear of all students. Jisung stood in front of a classroom door and said "This is your class, I will come back later at lunch time to show you around more." Minho smiled politely and went in to his class. Jisung thought to himself as he walked to his class 'This guy is here for the arts too, I have a bad feeling that he is going to be trouble for me.'
"Hey I will meet you at our spot, I have to go pick up that new student I told you about that I have to show around." Jisung said to Hyunjin before parting ways. Jisung walked up to Minhos class to find him waiting for him outside the class. He looked so cool leaning against the wall looking at his black painted nails. "Hey Minho, ready to go to lunch?" Jisung said. "Hell yeah, I'm starving!" Minho said as he started walking with Jisung. "I'm sure they didn't want to say anything because it's your first day but we have a fairly strict dress code here at Brightstone Prep." Jisung said. "Yeah I know, I'm wearing the uniform aren't I?" Minho said nonchalantly. Jisung looked at Minho's loose tie and untucked shirt and rolled his eyes as he thought 'Sort of.' "I just mean things like your hair color, earrings and painted nails won't fly here." Jisung said. "Oh damn, really? Then I bet they won't like my tattoos either..." Minho said. "You have tattoos? Plural?" Jisung asked with bug eyes. "No, I'm just messing with you, you should have seen your face though, it looked like I told you I killed a guy." Minho said laughing. Jisung faked a laugh, clearly annoyed as they arrived in the cafeteria. They went through the food line and the cafeteria lady smiled as Jisung came up to get his meal. "Jisungie! I put some extra meat on there for you." The woman said blushing. "Thank you, you are always so good to me." Jisung said putting on his kiss up voice. Minho chuckled to himself and the woman heard him and turned to notice him for the first time. "Oh my! Jisungie, is this your friend?" She asked. "It's his first day here." Jisung replied. "Please take good care of me as well." Minho said as he smiled at the woman. "He's just as handsome as you Jisungie, and sweet too!" The cafeteria lady said blushing slightly. "You are too kind, I don't want to hold up the line any further, please stay well." Minho said as he got his food and walked off with Jisung. "So Prince, are you as popular with everyone as you are with middle aged women?" Minho asked teasingly. "Very funny." Jisung said blankly.
