TWENTY THREE

Team

The Singer Lorde once said,
"Dancin' around the lies we tell,
Dancin' around big eyes as well,
Even the comatose they don't dance and tell."

And I response to her, "everyone's competing for a love they won't receive,
'cause what this palace wants
is release."

Lorde told me that "living in ruins of a palace within my dreams,
and you know,
we're on each other's team."

But I simply replied to her, "We live in cities you'll never see on screen,
Not very pretty,
but we sure know how to run things."
