"You have thirty seconds and I'm gone." My twin brother Drey yelled from outside my door.
I ignored him and still moved at my own pace. Stepping in front of my full body mirror, I looked closely at myself as I applied gel to my hair slicking it back smoothly into a low ponytail with my brush. Once I got it to look how I wanted, I grabbed my book bag off of my bed then made my way down the hall where he was standing in front of the stairway. He stopped me from going any further and observed my outfit.
"I'll give you thirty more seconds." He slightly pushed me back towards my room. I tried pushing my way past him but he was way stronger than me.
"We are not doing this today, move." I laughed a bit.
"I'm not moving until you change. You ain't going no where with me with that on."
"You gonna make us late again Drey, move!"
"Then you better make it quick."
I smack my lips as he shuts me in my room. I quickly put my jacket over the crop top zipping it up all the way, then open the door back up. He then look at my outfit then moved out of my way.
"Better."
I roll my eyes at him and sped down the stairs then walked into the kitchen with him following behind me.
"Morning." My dad says from the living room with a yawn right after.
"Good morning." I say then look at Drey and I could tell he knew exactly what I was thinking.
This was the fourth time in a row that I had seen him sleeping on the couch. That had to mean that him and mom were fighting again.
Drey nodded his head towards the door, indicating for us to go. We then walk out the door and ran arcoss the street to the bus stop then got onto the bus. On the way up the bus steps, Drey's clumsy ass managed to slip, causing him to step on my white shoes.
"Walk straight dumbass." I yelled and pushed him off, then lean down to wipe off my shoe.
They didn't dirty up bad, but he still knows that I don't play around when it comes down to my shoes.
"It was an accident, calm all that the fuck down." He snapped back, then continued walking to the back with his annoying ass friends that sat behind us. I ignored him and followed behind and sat next to Leah.
"You gon let your sister bitch you like that bro? Let that be me, we would be fighting." One of his friends said trying to flirt and get my attention.
"Sit your ugly ass down. You ain't going to fight shit." Drey said making everyone laugh.
I pay them no attention, instead I turn to look at Leah and give all my attention to her. My eyes grow wide once I get a good look at her hair which looked a hot ass mess along with her makeup which was smudged.
"What the hell happened to you?" I chuckle.
"Huh? What are you talking about?" She said in between her yawns.
I pulled my phone off of my pocket and opened my camera putting it to her face so she can see what I see. She gasped and quickly reached into her book bag for her brush.
"Girl, I was just asleep before you got on here." She laughed along with me.
"Well damn sleeping beauty, I ain't know you was a man."
"Shut the fuck up."
She brushed her long, thick curly hair into a high bun then fix her edges as well. When I tell you this girl can do some hair... I mean that.
