ASHTON'S POV
"But Breeeeeee..." I sighed into my phone. I was wandering around my house aimlessly by this point in our conversation.
"Aaaaaaash..." She sighed back in a mocking tone, causing me to chuckle.
"Your laugh is weird." She giggled through the phone.
"Oh come on it's not that weird!" I defend, finding myself in my kitchen.
"It is too! You sound like a twelve year old girl!" She said, still laughing.
"Whatever," I mumbled back, rolling my eyes, "I just rolled my eyes at you by the way." I informed her.
"Whatever." She replied, mocking me again.
I let out a huff, "I'm so bored." I complain, heading back to my bedroom because there is absolutely no food in this house as mum is out doing the grocery shopping.
"Yeah, me too actually." She admits.
And I suddenly had a brilliant idea, "We should do something then! Like, together, since we're both bored." I suggest.
I heard her groan, "I wish I could, but mum has practically got me on lockdown because she doesn't want me walking in the rain..."
And another brilliant idea from me.
"Well I'll just come to your place!" I exclaim, "I'll drive over and be there in like 10 minutes." I say standing up from my bed and walking to my desk to grab my keys.
"Ashton, you don't even know my address." She states.
She was right about that, "Well you'll just have to text it to me, won't you?" I say, heading towards my sister's room.
Bree laughs again, "Alright. I'll text you my address and see you in 10." We said goodbye and hung up.
I knock on my younger sister's door.
I hear a "Yeah" from the other side and open the door and stick my head in.
"Hey Lauren, I'm just driving over to Bree's place for a bit, mum should be home in 10 minutes, so just make sure Harry doesn't leave the house or burn it to the ground." I smile.
"Yeah sure." She smiles back.
"Sweet, be back in maybe an hour?" I question myself before walking out the front door to my car to drive to Bree's.

BREE'S POV
So today has been pretty boring so far.
It's been raining nonstop all weekend, since we went to the beach yesterday.
Sundays are meant to be fun and exciting!
But, no.
All my stupid mind keeps flicking back to is the funeral that is on Tuesday.
I tried so many things to try and distract myself, but nothing worked.
So, I called Ashton.
And now, he is on his way and I'm still sitting in my room in my pyjama pants and singlet top.
I had just finished braiding my little sister Elise's fiery red hair and I was now on my MacBook trying to find something to watch on Netflix.
I heard a knock on my door followed by a little giggle from Elise.
"What is it Ellie?" I shout from my bed on the opposite side of the room.
She opens my door and shuffles into my room.
"Someone knocked on the door." She says with another little giggle, "I think it's Ashton." And cue more giggling.
I swear she's in love with him, she's only 8 and yet she's in love with an 18 year old boy. What even?
"Well did you let him in?" I asked, knowing exactly what the answer will be.
She shook her head furiously making her bright red curls bounce up and down, "No! He's your friend." Of course more giggles escaped her mouth, and she turned and ran back to her room, forcing me to walk down the hall to the front door.
I swung the door open to reveal Ashton in trackies, a singlet, sunglasses and thongs, or flip flops whatever you want to call them.
"Hurry up get inside out of the rain! Geez Ash!" His hair was all wet and it made it even more curly.
"Bree calm down, it's only sprinkling." He chuckled, brushing off my attempts to usher him quickly inside.
We walked down the hall to my room, passing Elise who darted passed us all blushy and giggly.
"What's up with her?" Ashton asked confused.
I laughed to myself, "Oh, nothing. I think she has a little crush on you."
He looked a little taken aback, "Anyway..." He trailed off jokingly, "What should we do?"

"I win!" I laugh, doing a little happy dance.
Ashton shakes his head in denial, "Ummm, no. I'm pretty sure I won." He states trying to rain on my parade.
Someone coughs behind us to get our attention.
I turn around to see Elise standing with one little hand on her hip and the other holding her Nerf gun over her shoulder. It's quite a funny sight really, since the toy gun is almost as big as her.
"Actually," She begins, "I won." She says, walking towards Ashton and I who still have our Nerf guns locked and loaded.
"See." She says pointing to the multiple targets that we set up around my house.
Thanks to my genius idea of putting a bit of paint on the end of the bullets, each of us with different colours, we could see exactly how many targets each of us hit, and how many points we each scored.
We also had a rule that if you hit another player on the target that we put on our backs, it was double points as we are moving targets.
I hadn't checked to see if anyone had hit me, but apparently my tiny 8 year old sister managed to shoot me in the back.
"Backstabber." I mumbled to myself.
Of course Ashton heard me, and he nudged my shoulder, "She obviously won Bree, you don't have to win everything you know." He said getting all overdramatic and sarcastic.
"I'm hungry!" Elise announced to no one in particular.
"Let's get you some food then!" I say racing her to the kitchen.
