Six months have passed and today is my birthday. So not looking forward to it, don't get me wrong nobody has ever forgotten my birthday. Not even Natalie and she absolutely hates me, but it's just that they make such a big deal about it. Like tonight for example we're having a ball just as we would if we still lived in the castle. My two sisters idea of course, ever the traditional those two.
There was a knock at the door and then another. I got up with a grunt saying "Ok, ok here I cometh my dearest siblings. Please allow me to maketh myself presentable before any see me."
"Just open the door you ass." they said in unison.
"Alright, hold on."
I opened the door to two identical twins baring weapons at me. Ok they only had hair products but you might as well call them weapons. My hair is literally two to two in a half miles long by the time they finished it was to my knees in bouncy curls, mind you they have no scissors.
"Voilà. You're all done." My sister Ruby said spinning my chair around.
"We call it hidden length." My sister Topaz said jumping up and down.
"Oh my gosh you two it looks amazing. Thank you."
"Glad you like it, now for our gifts to you."
"It's something small from the both of us."
"Geez your making me anxious! What is it already."
"Ok, ok ready? One. Two. Three."
I couldn't speak or breath as they revealed the dress which was of course Amethyst. It was strapless and went into a slim waist and fell into a wide bottom. It hit the floor in different shades of pink and purple in ripples. For the jewelry they made a small pendant necklace with an amethyst gemstone in the center of a golden heart on a silver chain. A pair of amethyst studs and a gold charm bracelet of three girls with small topaz, ruby, and amethyst gemstones on their feet.
My sister hugged me as I began to cry.
"It's beautiful guys I love it."
"That's not the full dress were just to short to show." Ruby said smiling.
"The color shifts to match you're hair and when you put the dress on you're hair will adjust to the length of the dress. Now we know you don't like shoes so we got you feet bracelets made entirely of amethyst." Topaz finished.
I got up hugged each of them.
"Everyone is preparing for your party."
"He still hasn't returned?"
They looked at each other and Ruby hesitantly answered "Well no, but let's not worry about that right now."
"I need to tell him."
"To tell him what exactly." Ruby asked. Topaz had left to take care of the cake preparations I looked at her with tear filled eyes and said "I need to tell him I love him.
"Oh my god Amy are you serious!?"
"Very. He makes me so happy."
"When did you realize it?"
"On his birthday."
Her eyes went wide and she was about to say something when Natalie burst into my room yelling "Jonny is back! Come on idiot he's back! He's finally back!"
Four months had passed and no one had seen or heard from Jon. Now he's back, I jumped and ran to the front door as fast as I could.The door opened slowly and in walked my best friend. I walked up to him and looked into those deep emerald eyes. For the first time in months I felt at ease. I began taking his bags from him and then I felt tears rolling down my cheeks.
