You were waiting for Prentiss to get home. You decided you would surprise her. You didn't usually stay at her place while she was gone, but this time you did. So when she got home and you rustled around, she turned and had her gun pointed at you in less than two seconds.
"Emily, it's me. It's Y/N." You told her.
She quickly lowered her gun and pulled you into a hug.
"Oh my god. You scared me. You usually don't stay here. I'm so sorry, darling." She whispered.
"It's okay. I'm sorry I scared you." You replied.
"It's alright. How about we head up to bed? I've missed having you to sleep with." She mumbled.
You agreed and went upstairs to her bedroom and spent the night wrapped in her arms, happy to have your profiler back home.
