Bouquet

I slight walked towards the hallway. Lumiko naman ako habang dahan-dahan na nakikiapghaluan sa mga tao. Mabilis akong nag sign of the cross nang makita ko na ang gusto kong puntahan. I sighed deeply as I walked to it.

I folded my eyes as I gradually kissed my kneels on the floor. I don't mind the people creating noise. I silently intertwined my hands and my elbow touched the wooden chair. I prayed and thanked Him for everything he provided.

When I'm done, I opened my eyes as I sense that their someone behind me. I giggled when I saw him praying too. While I'm waiting for him, I filled my eyes with the beauty of the church. I sat on the chair while wearing my floral white dress paired with some white sandals.

I'm always here even before I studied here. Here I am to be found when I miss my hometown and regret everything and keep on fighting for my dreams. I seek His guidance and He gave me so much...greater than my wishes.

I settle my eyes on the man wearing a beige coat. I noticed that his body changed. He losses weight.

I giggled more when he never failed to surprise me. I love the man who will prioritize God over everything and I know...I know he will never break my trust or everything.

Who will it think that I'll still be in love with him?

I chuckled and sensed that he was done praying. I cleared my throat to not admitted I'm watching him earlier.

"Sayang at hindi tayo naka abot sa mass nila. Ngayong Sunday nalang siguro, 'di ba?"

He nodded and slowly grabbed my hands. My brows meet halfway.

"I can be your photographer. C'mon. Grab this opportunity," he said while looking into my eyes.

I nodded and I let him guided me through the altar. Nasa gitna ako at makikita ang kabuuan ng simbahan. I pose.

"Isa pa," sabay pose.

My eyes darted at him while he started smiling into the camera. Tumaas ang nguso ko.

"I love you," he said.

My heart skips for that moment as I stretched my lips to finally show my teeth. He raised my phone and take a selfie with me.

"Ikaw naman," presenta ko sa kanya.

Tumango siya at nag pose saglit. His Adam's apple showed as he looked at me, not at the camera. He smiled genuinely.

"We will be back here," he said after posing.

I smiled and nodded.

Tumingin ako sa kabuuan ng building habang nasa loob ng van. Kagagaling ko lang sa shoot na sa street ginanap. Napaawang ang labi ko ng pumasok siya sa loob ng van. I smiled as he gave me a one stem of sunflower.

"Thanks," I said and smiled more.

"Liligawan kita araw-araw, Calla. Sa ayaw o sa gusto mo," he said that while I'm looking at the sunflower.

Nilagay ko sa gilid ang bulaklak at sinandig ang ulo sa bintana. Hinila na ako ng antok.

Nagmulat ako ng mata sa isang katok. Napabangon ako at napansin na nasa kwarto na ako. Dali-dali kong binuksan ang pintuan. Bumungad sa'kin ang naka-ekis na braso ni Victoria.

"Morning may work ka po ngayon," panunuya niya pero alam kong inis na siya.

Kumunot naman ang noo ko.
