Chapter 12 The Thanksgiving Turn Around Part Two

Joshua sits in the floor fanning his mother trying to wake her up. Soon she finally opens her eyes and gets up and looked around at all of us and then she stares dead at me.

"Yo- your pregnant with tw- tw- twins." She says with her voice shaky. I just nod my head up and down and just stare at the floor in what she going to say.

All I could think of was what she had to say all the bad things she going to call me or say about my kids.

Joshua voice brought me out of my day thinking,

"Mom I'm staying with Nicole I'm going to be a great father to my kids I am not leaving them no matter what you say mom." He said with a serious stern voice.

His mom just looks at him then me and back and she nodded her head and then finally spoke.

"I understand Joshua you changed a lot I have noticed you become more mature and grown up now then you use to be I know what you have done was wrong but I'm here to help you when you need it but only if you really need it other wise you have to show me that you have straighten up for good and be the father you say you are." She said with a caring voice and then gave him a big hug and then me.

Me and Joshua was relief to hear that come from his mom. We were happy now that she agreed with us and she will be in the babies lives.

"Oh Nicole may I you know feel of the baby bump." she said looking down at my stomach and then back up at me.

"Yes you may you are the grandma or grandmother of these precious babies." I said giving her a smile and taking her hand and putting it on my stomach.

"My oh my your baby pump his so big your going to have two big heathy babies." she said laughing and feeling of my baby bump.

"I know, would you like to see the nursery we already started on it we decided to do a beach them something nice and also match for a boy or girl." I said smiling.

"Yes of course and that is a wonderful theme that will match for the babies with either gender." she said sounding excited.

We walk up the stairs passing my room and then finally the second door on the right we walk into the nursery. turning around to let his mom in watching her eyes pop out how the nursery looks to her.

"Wow I love this color and the cribs you have almost everything I'm so proud of y'all for getting ready and getting the big stuff you need, don't worry I'm going to go big get you more stuff." she said smiling from ear to ear pulling us both into a big hug.

We didn't know what to say cause we were still in shock of how his mom took it I guess she really hit her head.

Later we all finished cleaning the kitchen and then his mom hugged me and then Joshua, "alright guys I'm sorry your father had to work, I'll tell him when he gets home Joshua and again I love you, see you tonight or if you decide to stay here let me know it's your choice your a grown up now so it's your choice."

Joshua nodded and then his mom gave us one more big hug and then called his brothers in from outside to go home. His brother were outside the whole time luckily with Roy and Chelsea keeping them occupied.

We said our goodbyes and then after his mom left we just rested the rest of the afternoon chilling on the couch soon it was time to go to bed Joshua stayed the night.

He texted his mom and let her know like she asked and then we all went to bed well Chelsea and Roy did but me and Joshua stayed up for a bit.

"So what do you think the gender of the babies is, we find out in three weeks." I said looking down at my big baby bump and then him.

"I hope it's boys cause I don't know how to handle a little girl now." he says laughing.

I spat at him playfully at what he said, "well I feel like it's a boy and girl." I said with a smirk.

He just shook his head and laugh, "hey you know what you really look cute with your baby bump." He laughed while wrapping his arms around me.

"Oh hush it we need to go to bed you got work tomorrow and I need to look up or go to the school bout home schooling." I said looking up at him.

"Well if your home schooling then I'll do the same I don't want you to be left alone when the babies get here." He said with a smirk.

"You don't have to do that you know." I said looking back down at my belly.

"Well I am if you like it or not." He said kissing my forehead.

"Alright then let's got to bed." I said smiling up at him.

He nod and then slowly moved his face closer to mine and kissed me not just a peck more passionate kiss that lasted longer. He pulled me closer to him and then I wrapped my arms around his neck.

He held me tighter but not to tight and then our tongues met and then he slowly moved his hands up my back and down making me let out a moan.

Then he pulls back and gives me a smirk and I just shook my head and then he kissed me again but this time just a regular kiss and then we went to bed.
