The kingdom of Penumbra sounded so beautiful, helpful to all kingdoms in need of aid, and prosperous in itself, not like the Amijiki kingdom. I did not ponder over it too much, however, as I had no other evidence for them being one and the same.
After my misfortune with the first 4 books, I was not hoping for much from the fifth book retrieved for me later. It was a newer book, depicting the recent kings, queens, and their children, which found me wrong to have no hope. King and Queen Amijki of the Helios Kingdom. They had dark auburn hair, matching dark eyes, and a striking resemblance to the King Amijki I knew. As it turned out, they also had 2 sons, one of whom, the eldest, was to take over the kingdom one day, the other was engaged from birth to the heir of a much more northern kingdom, the kingdom of Penumbra.
King and Queen Kayama had midnight hair, ivory skin, and a single daughter who was born weak. They did not know how long she would live for, it would certainly be less than normal, so they made an agreement with the Helios Kingdom that if anything were to happen to their daughter, the youngest prince Amijiki would take over the throne. The scripture did not indicate it, but I assumed the King and Queen could bear no more children for some unforeseen circumstance.
I was assured now, that the Amijiki Kingdom was indeed what remained of the Kingdom of Penumbra. One thing which confused me was, the Kingdom of Penumbra was great and powerful, whereas the Helios Kingdom was rotting away in a southern desert. If it so pleased, the Penumbra Kingdom could consume Helios.
Over the course of my resting period, I thought a lot about what my plan was after this, there was no way anyone would send a request for me after the debacle in the Amijiki Kingdom, from there I had to forge my own path. However, I spent most of the time in my head running over the events with the prince - only because I was scared of him and fear is a concept so if I processed it enough and changed my mindset, I could remove that fear.
He was locked away most of his life because of his physical abilities which would send a lot of people mad, this was always going to happen so there was no reason to be scared, but the stigma I had been brought up on, of people who cared about nothing and would give everything up, however after thinking about it, I realised he never once genuinely tried to hurt me, only accidentally when I triggered his ability.
If I looked at the situation from a more serious angle, there was no danger being around him at all, I was obviously completely safe, no one had ever knocked me down before. If I looked at the situation from another angle, I could have made the most out of that situation and figured out the puzzle of the mental state, maybe even found a way to reverse it. Then I could have written a book which was actually useful.
Sighing into my book, I took the rest of my time in the place to thoroughly rest. I knew what I had to do. The path ahead of me may not have been an easy one, and it may not even have been worth it in the end, but it was something I strongly felt I needed to go through with.
So on the final day after supper, fully rested and full of food, I headed to my dorm for the final time. Clutching my satchel, I closed my eyes and focused my mind and in the same instant, I was no longer at my old school and found myself on the edge of district 4 of the Amijiki kingdom.

The night air was cool on my skin as I clung to my satchel. I only brought my satchel to prevent myself from burning out; having to move myself far away then having to teleport my luggage to me would use double the energy. Being exhausted from the trip, I decided it unwise to cover any ground in that state and opted to sleep it off in the woods on the outskirts of village.
Though summer was well on its way, the night was still cool, especially so far up north. I felt as though I would never be able to fall asleep however my exhaustion got the better of me.
