I was starting to wake up and Chris came in and sat on the edge of my bed and put his hand on my stomach.
"Hey honey I have breakfast made. You hungry?"
"Ummm a little bit, but not much...I'm not feeling very well this morning."
"Oh what's not feeling very good?"
"My body aches...my stomach and head both hurt...I still don't feel happy after all this happened."
"Hannah I got your back. Don't worry. It'll be okay I promise." He said giving me a kiss on the forehead.
"Okay I hope it is.."
"It will. Just please come downstairs and try to get a little bit of food in your belly. It might help it feel better."
"Okay I will."
(A few hours later)
I was sitting on his couch and he came up and say next to me. He knew I was still heart broken and hurting. All of a sudden my phone started vibrating.
"What's that?" Chris asked.
"My stupid "step father" just text me."
"What did he say??"
He said, "You need to come home. You live here not there. You don't need to be living with your Uncle Chris when I have full custody of you."
"I'm not coming home. Uncle Chris takes better care of me and treats me better than you do." I text back.
"Excuse me?! At least I didn't kill your father!"
"My mom didn't kill him he got into a car accident ass hole. Bye."
I curled up in a ball and lost it again.
"Hey baby it's okay...come here." Chris said.
He was even in tears when my step dad text me that.
"I just don't know anymore...I hate it when he says this crap to me."
"I know, Hannah. Just know that your mom didn't kill him."
"Ya I know she didn't. She has told me that a lot. I told her that I believed her."
"Good just keep that in mind."
"Uncle Chris I'm sorry I've been so upset and just ugh...I'm just scarred I'm gonna hit depression again and it wouldn't be good. I'm glad I am with you, because I would've probably killed myself after all this happened."
"Awww sweetheart it's not your fault. Life can be very complicated sometimes and you just have to get through it. Just know I'm always here for you when you need anything. I'll do anything for you. Please remember that."
"I will...thank you.." I said back.
I have the best uncle ever and would die without him.
"I love you Uncle Chris. So much."
"I love you too Hannah!"
