A FAMILY'S LOVE is unconditional as these are the people who accept you no matter what, there’s no hatred or judgment. it does not matter what kind of family one belongs to. it is all equal as long as there are caring and acceptance.

however, not all families are like that, as a child, you don’t get to choose your siblings, and you certainly don’t get to choose your parents. takami keigo learned very young that no matter what he did it was never gonna be enough for his father, nevertheless keigo's mother was like a bright star always there for him.

keigo often wondered how someone as sweet and nice as his mother, could be with someone like his father who was basically a villian.

"how many times do i have to tell you not to go out?! answer me boy, did you go out just to report me?!" yelled takami ichiro as he walked towards little keigo who was shaking in fear. "n-no i-i promise!" said keigo as tears started to fall from his eyes "i was just playing outside with my friends."

"don't lie to me boy! you know what happens when you disobey me. unless you tell me honestly this time what you did, i will have to punish you." nevertheless, before ichiro could do anything akane stepped in front of keigo and said "he's telling the truth, keigo didn't do anything, i took him to the park to play."

akane knew what was gonna happen next, and she doesn't regret it because she will protect her keigo no matter what. "what?! you bitch, what if someone saw him using his quirk?!" ichiro said with anger in his voice as he slaped her.

keigo couldn't move no matter how much he wanted to protect his mother he coudn't move his legs, he stood there as he watched his mother save him again.

"if this happens again akane i won't be forgiving as this time."

ichiro walked out as he slamed the door as hard as he can making akane sigh before she put a smile and turned to her son. keigo coudn't stop crying even more as he saw a big red mark on his mother's cheek. "i'm sorry mama, it's my fault you got hurt." said keigo giving his mother a hug as she wiped his tears. "no keigo its not your fault," she said as she ruffed his hair "don't worry about me okay? i promise i'm okay."

but none the less, in keigo's eyes his mother was his hero; she was there every time to save him from his father's rage and because of his mother's kindness and good heart he wanted to be a hero too ( especially when he each time felt helpless to save his mother like she saved him all the time ).

his dream became even more a goal when pro hero no.2 Endevour arrested his father. yet, after keigo used his quirk to save someone his whole life changed, the hero commision took him from his mother saying how he's gonna become a hero.

all keigo could think in his innocent mind was that maybe he could be strong and be the hero like his mother was to him ( however, in a couple years he will find out how wrong he was for such wishful thinking ).

although, takami akane knew better, she knew that the people from the hero commision really wanted was just another soldier to do their dirty work and she tried everything in her power to save her boy, still it wasn't enough because in the end her son agreed.

"don't cry mom," keigo said as he wiped his mothers tears "i'm gonna became a hero and then I will save you." akane couldn't help but cry more as she kissed and hugged her son "you are already my hero keigo." that was the last time he saw his mother.

every time when keigo asked about his mother the commission would always tell him that she's fine and that he should forget about his past life ( he was still trying to adjust to his new name Hawks ), it was months later when keigo found out his mother, his hero was dead. he felt like a piece of him died too.
