𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐀 𝐁𝐎𝐋𝐄𝐘𝐍 was a woman of many secrets. One specifically that she was not Anna Cullen, she was Anna Boleyn, Queen consort of Henry VIII. That was, until her death on May 16th 1536 and her rebirth but days later on May 20th 1536 at the hands of one Carlisle Cullen, a physician in the court of England and but a young vampire himself at the time.
To hide her identity, Anna and Carlisle promptly fled to Germany and opened an apothecary where Anna found herself the centre of yet another centre of women's history, providing poison to women with abusive husbands.
After 150 years of travelling throughout Europe, Carlisle and Anna were called to the court of Volterra by the Kings to finally meet the elusive Cullen's.
And, unknowingly, their mate and future Queen of the Vampires.
