Oblivious (Hailee Steinfeld/Reader/Elizabeth Olsen)

Part 3

Y/N had finally forgotten about Delilah. And that was all thanks to their friends here. They were still clueless of the rivalry between Hailee and Lizzie. The two always fighting on who was sitting beside them. Who wanted to walk beside them on the walks. That was when Scarlett decided to step in.

"This is getting tiring." Lizzie complained as she sat beside Scarlett at the camp fire. "They don't even notice that Hailee and I are at each others throats because of them."

"Well maybe be more obvious. You are an actress Lizzie." She told her friend. "Use those skills."

Everyone else found entertainment in the two throwing themselves at Y/N. Lizzie looked up when she heard Y/N's laugh accompanied by another. She felt rage within her when she saw Hailee walking beside them.

"I'll be right back." Lizzie said as she ducked into their shared tent for a new vest. Scar just smirked at her knowing that this is going to be fun to watch.

"Where did Lizzie go?" Y/N asked as they approached Scarlett.

"She needed to go in the tent for a moment." She told them. "She seemed a little out of sorts." She could see Hailee beside them with jealous eyes as they asked about their best friend.

"I'll go and check on her." Y/N said as they walked away from the two towards the tent.

"So, what is it with Lizzie and Y/N?" Hailee asked Scar as they were now alone.

"They're best friends. They have been for years." She told her. Hailee just smiled with a nod, hoping that they wouldn't look at Lizzie the way she wants Y/N to look at her.

"Hey, are you ok?" Y/N asked as they stepped inside Lizzie's tent. Lizzie stood up quickly with a new top in hand and just a bra on.

"Y/N, what are you doing here?" She asked them, not even thinking that she is only in her bra and denim shorts.

"Scar said that you were out of sorts and I wanted to check on you." They said as they turned away quickly, giving her privacy to put her shirt on.

"I'm ok." She giggled as she pulled the shirt over her head. It was a tight low v neck white t shirt that she stole from Scarlett's bag.

"Are you sure?" They asked as she just smiled at their cuteness.

"I am sure. You can turn around now." She told them. They turned to face her slowly. "You know you have already seen all of my movies so you have pretty much seen everything."

"I know but that's different. I watch movies for the plot." They told her shyly. She couldn't help but smile at their cuteness. "But are you sure everything is alright?"

"You know." She thought hard for what she was going to say. "I miss my Y/N time. You know just the two of us."

"Well we can arrange that." They told her. "You're my best friend and I love your company."

"Well let's go and see what the others are doing." She said as she squeezed their arm.

"Aren't you going to be too cold?" They asked her with her lack of a jacket. She smirked and shook her head knowing that Y/N will always give her their jacket if she gets cold.

"I'll be fine." She smiled softly at them. They followed her out of the tent to join the others. Lizzie sent a smirk Hailee's way as she latched onto Y/N's arm, keeping them close. Zendaya could see the jealousy in Hailee's gaze.

"Why are you so bent out of shape at their friendship?" She asked her.

"Because I can tell she really likes them too." She told her. "And there is an age gap between Y/N and I but they're the same age."

"Listen, I heard that they have literally just caught their ex soon to be fiance cheating on them so I don't think they're even ready for a relationship." Zendaya told her. Hailee just scoffed as Jeremy and Scarlett sat and watched the three of them.

"Your sibling is completely oblivious." Scarlett told him as he nodded in agreement.

"They have no game. I guess I got all the cool genes." Jeremy smirked as Scarlett shook her head.

"They are a NASCAR driver. Champion in fact. They literally risk their life everytime they are on that track." She told him as he shook his head. "And besides, you settled down before they finished their training."

"Asshole." He muttered before Scarlett bumped his shoulder. "But this is going to get real messy."

"And entertaining." Scarlett said before she turned to face him with a smirk on her face. "And we are the only ones that know what is happening." All he could do was smile knowing she is right as they watched Y/N give Lizzie their jacket.

"They would actually be sweet together." He told her as she nodded in agreement as they watched the two best friends laughing together. Y/N was just happy to have their mind off of their last relationship. They were happy to be around friends, not know what the following weeks were going to entail.
