Summary: Vinnie and you visit his parents. They see your baby for the first time

As Vinnie rings the doorbell to his parents' house, a soft jingle is heard. Vinnie stands next to you and looks lovingly at the bundle in your arms.
You smile as the little bundle moves. "I hope it's not too tiring for her."
,,Hey Y/N. How are you?" You are greeted as Maria (Vinnie's mother) opens the door. "Hey Maria. So nice to see you again. I'm fine thanks for asking."
"Is this Anna? (you can call the baby something else)" You nod and look down at her. Maria steps closer to you and leans forward slightly to see her better.
"She's as beautiful as you are." She says. "Oh, thank you." You blush slightly.
"Hey, Mom." Says Vinnie. "I'm fine, too."
Maria looks up from Anna, confused. As if she has forgotten that you are married to her son (yes married!) and he is with you. "Oh hey Vinnie."
She gives him a quick hug. "Shall we go inside?" You nod and enter the house.
"Nate, Y/N and Vinnie are here!" Maria calls out. Someone comes into the hallway. "Hello Vinnie." Nate gives Vinnie a fatherly hug. He then comes up to you.
"Hello Y/N." He greets you. "And hello Anna." A smile is on his face. "You have done a really good job."
"Nate!" Maria admonishes her husband.
Vinnie smiles and quickly takes off his shoes. "Honey, do you want me to take Anna? Then you can take your shoes off."
"Yes." You carefully put your child in his arms. He waits for you until you have taken off your shoes.
When you turn to him again, Maria asks: "Do you want to drink coffee? Or something else?"
"No, coffee is fine." You look questioningly at Vinnie, who nods in reply. Maria walks into the kitchen. You follow her.
Vinnie goes into the living room with Nate. You start a conversation with Maria. "I'm so glad Anne is finally born. I couldn't have lasted any longer." You laugh.
Maria puts on coffee and turns to you. "I know this. Vinnie and Reggie were kicking all the time." She smiles at you.
"But you still look very good. I looked like I hadn't slept in a year after just a few days."
"I'm lucky. Vinnie helps out a lot. He's doing the best he can."
After you drink your coffee, you sit next to Vinnie at a table. Across from you sit his parents.
"And how are you feeling?" Nate asks. Vinnie answers him. "Anna screams a lot. But as soon as she touches Y/N she's quiet." Vinnie puts his hand on your knee.
You smile. Anna is also in your arms at this moment. "Y/N" Maria asks. "May I hold her?" Maria points to the bundle in your arms.
"Of course." You stand up and walk around the table to her. "Here." You put the baby in her arms.
"Then I can disappear for a moment." You walk off in the direction of the toilet.
After you are done, you leave the bathroom. You are about to walk back down the hall when Vinnie comes up to you.
"Hey honey, I love you." He puts his hands on your cheeks and gives you a soft kiss on the lips. As you break away you smile at him.
"I love you too." You put your arms around his hips and rest your head on his chest. His chin rests on your head. You listen to his heartbeat.
"Babe. I'm sorry to ruin the moment now, but I need to use the bathroom too."
"Oh, yeah, of course." You break away from him. "See you soon." You give him another quick kiss on the lips and happily make your way back to your family.
