(narrator POV)
After what happened with Tiff and Mitch, the campers were left dumbfounded. Their only means of action is to find a way off the island. Boy did that go wrong. Supplies isnt easy to come by on this hellhole of an island

(Darius POV)
I bolted through the jungle, ben and kenji barely in front of me. Toro's roars were getting louder. I knew we couldnt lead him back to the camp, I didnt want to jeopardize everyone.

"HEAD TO THE WATERING HOLE, ITS JUST UP HERE TO THE LEFT!" I called out between breaths, "ITS OUR ONLY BET ON GETTING TORO OFF OUR TRAIL"

We veered left and made a bee line to the watering hole. Luckily, Toro began to give up and he eventually turned back where we came. Kenji and Ben slowed down as did I and we silently decided to catch our breath at the only safe space on this damn island.

"What a run... huh?" I panted, trying to make a joke.

"Definitely dont want to do it again today" Ben replied feeding into it. Kenji was still breathing like a pug. My face felt a little warm at Ben's reply. Not from what he said but more of the fact he said it.

Wait.

No.

Bens my friend, I shouldnt feel that way about him. But yet I do...

I pushed the ferns out of my way and the other two boys followed my lead. I called out to the girls to notify that we were here. I didnt hear a response, but I saw Sammy's hand reach out over the ladder giving a thumbs up. We made it to the top and I sat on the couch sighing deeply, sinking in and resting my eyes.

"Mind if I join you?" I hear Ben's voice and opened my eyes to see him leaning back next to me, holding his arms behind his head.

"I dont really have a choice now do I?" I joked. He closed his eyes and smirked. God he looked amazin-

"DARIUS BEN!!!" Yaz and Sammy were jogging towards us, seeming to be excited. Brooklyn and Kenji showed up behind them with pleasant expressions on their faces.

"We're playing truth or dare, wanna join?" Brooklyn put a hand on her hip and raised the other in a questioning motion.

I glanced back at Ben and then back again, "Sure!"

(Ben POV)
"Sure!" Darius had said. I wasnt too good about making group decisions, so I usually went with what he said.

"Ill play too" Everyone looked at me with surprised expressions. My face grew red with embarrassment.

We all gathered around a table. It was missing a leg and had a lot of dents and scratches on it.  Yaz and Sammy sat together while Kenji and Brooklyn sat together. This only left me and... Darius. My face felt warm and I tried to casually cup my face in my hands and slouch over.

"Soooo... Ill start!" Sammy grew excited with every word she spoke "Ben, truth or dare?"

"Dare! Wait, I mean truth," being cut from my own thoughts truly startled me, especially when thinking about a special someone...

"So is it truth or dare?" Sammy asked confused.

"I said dare" I raised my brows but I couldnt get annoyed by her.

"I dare you to swing from a vine, like Tarzan!!" She was smiling wildly and Yaz nudged her with approval. I rolled my eyes in a joking manner and went to go swing from a vine as she said. Luckily, there was one draping inside the treehouse, so I just swung from that clearing 1/3 of the floor. Everyone clapped and I took a bow.

"Kenji, truth or dare" Kenji looked surprised and slightly arrogant.

"Dare," I smirked. This is my time to shine.

I stood up from where I was sat, making Darius jump slightly, "I dare you to take a swan dive into the river!"

Kenji looked annoyed but let his pride give in. He stepped upon a rock, taking a deep breath before jumping in. He didny dive but it was good enough. He came back soaking it wet.

"Darius!" Kenji said, drawing out the 'u', "Truth or dare?"

Darius looked confident and proudly said, "Truth".

Kenji leaned back, "Do you 'like' like somone?"
