Hailee Varona (born July 18th, 2000) is a Belarusian actress, model, and musician, born and raised in new zealand before permanently moving to London, england, when she was eighteen. She is the Eldest daughter of parents, Varon Maroz and Isla Thea-Thomason. Her younger brother, Max Varon is around ten years younger than her. Hailee tends to keep her family and personal life seperate from work. Varona's modeling career began when she was young, and she has since then modelled for popular brands such as Calvin Klein, balmain, Prada, Givenchy, tom ford, tiffany&co, and more. she has also been photographed and interviewed by various influential magazines such as: ELLE, Vogue, Allure, and many others. Varona has starred in various tv shows since starting her acting career at age 12. Her career started with small acting and voice acting parts in shows, such as So awkward, orphan, and starwars: the clone wars. Acting opportunities in more mature shows increased as she grew older. she's made various appearances in many shows such as the 100° in 2014, and the divergent series in 2016. Her extensive filmography includes more recent shows such as godzilla vs. kong, The babysitter: killer queen, Domina, X, Last Night in SoHo, Black dog, Furlough, and more. In 2017, Varona joined the cast of Avatar: The Way of Water and following sequels as Na'leya, the eldest daughter of tonowari and Ronal, and Neteyem's love interest (played by Jamie flatters°) — acting alongside filip geljo as twin brother Ao'nung and bailey bass as younger sister, tsireya. My role in 'Avatar: the way of water' was my biggest and most challenging role yet — she said in an interview for 2022 vogue magazine°. After repeated delays in the expected release schedule, Avatar: The Way of Water is set to premiere in London on December 6, and also premiere In Los Angeles on December 13. The movie will be theatrically released in cinemas globally on December 16, 2022. Just this year, Varona starred in House of The Dragon, The prequel to Game of Thrones, alongside close friends Milly Alcock°, and Tom Glynn-Carney° whom she met previously on Domina and now occasionally makes music with. It was recently confirmed that she is set to star in the new and upcoming scream 6° movie, alongside avatar co-star and close-friend jack champion°. The movie is set to release on march 10, 2023.
Hailee has been active in her career since 2012 and will continue to act, leading into 2023 — she has already signed for acting in the following Avatar sequels and the upcoming movie scream.
