Back For You (A Niall Horan Fanfiction)

{Chapter 1}

"Ugh, I hate science. I'm never going to need to know any of this anyway...." I thought to myself. The teacher kept talking to us but my mind started wandering. Soon I started daydreaming about the handsome Niall Horan. He has it all... His smile, hair...and god, his eyes. Every time I see them- "KATE! Are you listening? This is the second time I've had to talk to you. The next time will be detention." The teacher screamed. I snapped out of my thoughts and looked around the room. How embarrassing! I saw Niall smile a few seats to my left. Oh my god.... How could this day get any worse?

The final bell rang and I rushed out of the school. I just want to go home and plop down on the couch. Of course it's raining. I pulled my backpack onto one shoulder and headed out into the pouring rain. After a couple minutes of walking, I felt a large jacket being placed around my shoulders. I turned around to see Niall smiling at me. "Hi Kate. You looked kind of lonely so I joined you...is that okay?" He said. Is that okay? IS THAT OKAY? OF COURSE IT IS! "Um yeah..thanks." I said smiling back at him. Wow. I didn't think he would ever talk to me... I mean, he's so gorgeous and I'm just..well, average. Niall and I got engaged in random conversations, some about how he wanted to be a singer one day. How adorable! When we got to my house, I wished I lived further away.. But all good things come to an end. "Well. that was a nice walk even though its raining... Maybe, maybe we could do it again?" Niall asked, eyes full of hope. "Yeah, that would be nice!" You replied, smiling. "Okay, I'll see you around Kate!" He said, coming in for a hug. As he pulled away he placed a piece of paper in my hand. "Bye!" "Bye!" I said. As he walked away, I opened the folded paper revealing a note: Hey Kate! I was hoping you would let me walk you home. Anyways here's my number..I kinda like you and was hoping you liked me too. Bye!(: I laughed. He is so adorable...and he likes me! This day just got a whole lot better.
