"Katherine? No." Freya said to her.
"My humanity flipped the second I started to feel the pain of me killing the women and Allison dying. But I got to say, it...

"Do you think we'll be able to find them?" I asked quietly, my head resting on Scott's shoulder.
"I don't know," he replied, his voice low. "But let's not give up hope. We'll find them—one way or another."
I nodded, releasing a long, heavy sigh.
Scott glanced down at me. "Hey... what's going on between you and Isaac?"
His question caught me off guard. I looked away, fidgeting with my fingers. "It's... complicated."
"You know you can tell me anything, right?" he said with a gentle smile.
"Yeah, I know." I hesitated. "Isaac... he kissed me."
Scott blinked, surprised, but stayed silent.
"And the worst part?" I continued, barely able to look at him. "I kissed him back. I don't know why. I didn't mean to. I just—God, I'm a terrible girlfriend. I cheated on Stiles... with Isaac."
I buried my face in my hands.
"Hey, it's okay," Scott said, trying to comfort me.
"No. It's not," I cried. "I kissed someone else while I was with Stiles. That's not okay."
"Did it mean anything?" he asked.
"No. It didn't," I said immediately. "It was a moment—one stupid moment. I love Stiles. He's the best thing that's ever happened to me."
My voice broke. "I'm a terrible girlfriend. I don't deserve him. He's sweet and caring and funny. He's the guy every girl dreams about, and I—I ruined everything."
Scott pulled me into his arms, and I sobbed into his shoulder.
"I know how much you love him," he whispered. "I see it. The way you look at him, like he's the only person in the world."
"He is," I said with a shaky smile. "He's the only one I've ever felt this way about. He's the love of my life—even if I don't always know how to tell him."
"Then tell him," Scott said. "Before it's too late."
I nodded. "I will."
I stood, wiping my face. "We should get back before Deucalion thinks we ditched him."
"Yeah," Scott agreed, getting up too.
As we started walking, I added with a smirk, "Let's go find that bitch Jennifer."
Scott snorted. "What do you think'll happen if we do?"
I stopped walking. "Scott," I said, turning to him. "You know I love you like the brother I never had, right?"
