Different

Chapter 1

My name is Bailey. I am an original vampire along with a mutant. A while ago I was blasted by an alien rock and given powers though no one knew about me being either of these things. I was a very private person and tend to keep to myself. Though that didn't stop people from finding me.

I walked through the streets eating some ice cream I purchased at a stand about a block away. It was very good for plain Vanilla ice cream.  I have felt like I was being watched all day and I would rather not show them were I live so I haven't gone anywhere that could give that away. I now was getting bored of this though and decided to lose them. I turned down an ally with no cameras and before they could round the corner too I sped away.

"What the hell?" They asked confused when they saw I was gone. I had sped to the roof to see what they were doing. The person was looking around confused and I knew I was in the clear. I rushed home and started packing away my belongings.

I left that night. My location had been compromised and I couldn't have S.H.E.I.L.D or H.Y.D.R.A finding me. Both would either use me or S.H.E.I.L.D would try and kill me exposing me. I couldn't have that so I decided I should pay an old friend a visit.

"Hello?" Stephan answered. He was a friend I had made about 50 years ago. He was a recovering ripper. I had helped him along side his friend Lexi. He was nice but he didn't know about me being an original no one did not even the other group of originals. 

"Hey Stephan. I was wondering if I could come and stay with you for a while. I think I have a secret organization hot on my tail and I need a place to hang low. So could ya help a vampire out?" I asked him. 

"Yeah. I will send you my address but we have a lot of crazy going on out here and coming could put your life in danger but no secret organizations are here." Stephan told me.

"Ok send the address and I will be there in a few hours." I told him before hanging up. I shut my suit case and started out the door. He sent me an address a few minutes later and I found myself buying tickets to a little town called Mystic Falls.

The flight felt like a few days rather than hours. It was long and boring. I eventually fell asleep and next thing I knew I was being shaken awake from a flight attendant.  I hurried off the plane and rushed to catch a cab. Before I could try and get on I spotted my best friend standing there waiting for me. I smile and ran over to him pulling him in for a hug.

"Hey Stephan. Long time no see."  I teased. He smiled and nodded.

"Yeah I have been busy. Well I guess sense you are here you will want to know the drama I am caught up in?" He asked as we got into his car.

"Yep. Now Stephan why is my life in danger?" I asked in a light and teasing voice. Stephan went and explained how they were dealing with the other original vampires  and more and more drama. I mean how does he put up with that much shit from his brother, girlfriends and friends. It would make my head explode.

"Okay I get it this is to much freaking drama for such a little town. How do you deal with it?" I asked my friend. He shrugs and stops talking for the rest of the ride. We then pull up to his house and depart. Stephan shows me to my room and I start unpacking. I was just getting done when someone knocked at my open door. I looked up to see a girl with long brown hair staring at me.

"Can I help you?" I ask her.

"I Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Elena. I heard you were staying here with Stephan for a while and I wanted to stop in and check it out." She stated. I nod my head and finished up.

"My name is Bailey Weishap and yeah I am an old friend of Stephan. I have some people trying to find me and I am just going to say the world would get pretty ugly if they got their hands on me." I told her as I sat at the foot of my new bed. She looked at me confused.

"I am not a normal vampire. I was blasted with some alien space rock and now I have powers. I got telekinesis, electrokinesis and pyrokinesis." I told her. She furrowed her eyebrows very confused so I held up my hand and it lit on fire shocking her nd then the fire went out and the electricity dance around the skin of my hand. For the finally She was surrounded by red mist like magic and lifted from the ground she start squirming so I lowered her.

"Wow that is awesome. Seems like you should be able to survive this town pretty well even with these rouge originals then." She said but before she could leave I stopped her

"Can you tell Stephan about the whole magic thing because I didn't get a chance to in the car and I have stuff to do that's very important and can't wait." I asked her. She nodded and sped out of the house. Now I was finally making progress here. I really didn't have important things to  do I just didn't want to have to tell Stephan and explain it to him but he would be a little mad if he didn't know about it soon. I was walking around the town and seeing the different sights until I heard a voice behind me.

"Hello Love. Don't believe we have had the chance to meet yet." I turned to see no other than Klaus Mikaelson. I smirked.

"Probably because I like to stay away from dramatic orphans with to many metal issues to count" I said in a snarky voice. He smirked and ran forward shoving his hand through my chest and to his surprise it hardly bothered me.

"I would watch your tone with me. I could kill you without even blinking." He snarked.

"I don't really stay dead though." I told him. 

"Well let's test that theory then" He said darkly then he ripped my heart out and everything went black.
