{Chapter 13}

*Josh's POV*

"This is Kate." Niall said. I looked at the new guitarist. She's hot. I smiled at her and she smiled back. Ah! Those dimples! Adorable! I looked away and caught Niall staring at me. Oh great... He fancies her as well. I better stop liking this girl before trouble starts up. I took one last look at her. Yup. I'm over her. Niall must have said something funny because Kate started laughing. Her laugh is adorable... Okay.. This might be harder than I thought... *Kate's POV* I laughed at Niall's cheesy joke and continued walking down the hallway. We turned into a room and entered onto the stage. I sat in the back with the band. Josh is nice and so are the rest of the band members. He's also pretty cute... But not as cute as my Nialler. Wait, did I just call Niall mine? Hmm... I like the sound of that... *Niall's POV* We started right away, and Kate was rocking the guitar. "Okay, 5 minute break!" Our voice instructor said. I grabbed my water bottle and walked over to Kate. She and josh were laughing... Ugh. Josh. "Hey Niall!" Kate said as I walked up to them. "Hey! How are you liking your first rehearsal?" I asked. "It's awesome! I still can't believe I'm here." She said. I smiled. "Okay! Break's over!" I heard Claire, our voice instructor yell. Ugh! I can't wait until my date with Kaye tonight... The music for little things started playing and we sat in the chairs as I played the guitar. The band doesn't play for this song, so they were sitting on the side watching. Louis' solo came up and we stood up, following the choreography we learned. When it came close to my solo I looked at Kate and smiled. I started singing but never broke my gaze. "Maybe you'll love yourself like I... Love you. Ohhhh" I sang and she blushed. We finished the song and then went through the rest, and soon the rehearsal was over. We drove to the hotel and I washed up- it's already 7:00 and I'm taking Kate out at 8. *Kate's POV* We got back at the hotel at 7.. Oh my god! I have a date with Niall in an hour! I quickly showered and curled my hair, then did my makeup. Now what to wear? Niall said to dress warm. Hmmm... I settled on my favorite jeans and a cream sweater with a brown hat and ugg boots. I smiled at myself in the mirror and walked out. I saw Niall waiting in the living room. He smiled when he saw me. "You look stunning." He said and I blushed. "Thanks, you don't look too bad yourself." I said. "Alright," he said. "Boys, we'll be back later!" He said before taking my hand and walking out the door. I heard Louis say something but couldn't tell what he said. Probably some comment to Niall that I don't want to hear anyway... Those boys. Niall led me outside and into a cab. He gave the driver an address that I didn't recognize. I can't wait to see where he's taking me! We made small talk during the ride. It's amazing how easy it is to talk to him. We never have those awkward "um...so.." Moments where we don't have anything to talk about. I love it. We pulled into a parking lot. "We're here!" Niall said, paying the driver and getting out of the car. He ran around and opened my door. He's so cute. "Thanks." I said, taking his hand and getting out of the cab. I looked up and saw we were at a skating rink! I smiled. This is going to be so fun! I noticed it was completely empty... I looked at Niall. "I made sure no one would be here." He said, reading my mind. I smiled. We walked over and rented some skates. We stepped on the ice and Niall said "I've actually never done this before..." I laughed. "What? I thought we could be lame together..." He said. I laughed again and let go of his hand and started skating backwards. Then I did a little jump and skated back over to Niall. He just stood there in shock. "Where did you learn to do that?" He asked. "I used to take lessons when I was little." I said. He nodded. I laughed as he tried to keep his balance next to me. I took his hand and tried to help, but he fell anyway, taking me with him. I fell on top of him and laughed. "Sorry," he said. "It's okay.." I said, looking into his eyes. Before I knew it he leaned in and kissed me. I closed my eyes and kissed back, so happy in this moment. I pulled away and stood up. He tried to stand up but ended up falling again. We laughed and I pulled him up. We started skating again and Niall learned pretty quickly. Soon he was skating on his own! After a while we turned in our skates and went for a walk. It was freezing so we stopped by a coffee shop. I got a hot chocolate. We finished our drinks and walked outside. Niall took my hand and called a cab. We went back to the hotel but before I opened the door with my key, Niall took my hand. I turned around and saw he was closer than I thought. My back was against the door and he had his other hand beside my head. "Kate... I really like you." He said. My heart fluttered in my chest. "I like you too, Niall!" I said. He grinned. "Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked. *Louis' POV* "It's 11:00! Where are they?" Harry asked. "Calm down haz you know Niall. They're probably out doing something fun, not watching the time." Zayn said. Liam walked out of his room. "Lads we're all out of clean towels." He said. I sighed. "I'll go get some." I said. I stood up and made my way to the door. I was about to unlock it and walk out, but I heard talking. I looked through the peep hole and saw Nall...and Kate. Aw! They're gonna kiss! "I like you too Niall!" Kate said. "Will you be my girlfriend?" Niall asked with the biggest grin on his face. Go Ni! "Yes!" Kate said. They started kissing and I walked away. "Guys! Nialler and Kate are out there snogging!" I said. Harry quickly stood up and looked out the peep hold. He pulled away covering his eyes. "MY EYES!" He yelled. We laughed and I opened the door, totally ruining their moment. Hehe. "KEEP IT PG! Poor hazza can't take it!" I yelled, holding Harry protectively. Kate blushed madly as did Niall. We all laughed. They walked in and I gave Niall a clap on the back. "Congrats!" I said. He smiled. Kate yawned. "Well, I'm pooped. Night boys!" She said. We all said goodnight and she walked into her room.
