Piercing emerald eyes stared back at me, as I fled around the corner of an alley. I could hear the swift footfalls behind me as I tried to flee from what seemed like death itself. All of a sudden, a shadow came from inside the alley, and stepped in front of me.

"Whoops," said the voice, and giggled in a creepy high-pitched tone.

"Please, you have to help me I'm being stalked-" I started to say, begging this random person for help.

"Oh honey, I know," the person said, and I then felt a pain in my stomach.

I looked down to see a knife sticking in it, and I slowly looked up to the person. They grinned, and twisted the knife in my stomach, and I cried out.

"Oops-a-daisy. Better luck in the next life, honey," the person said, and in the dim lighting I saw a satisfied smile grow on their scarred face. They then pulled out the knife and everything went dark

Salvator wiped the blood off the knife, looking down at her victim, an eerie smile still plastered on her face. Dead bodies could be such a pain to take care of, Salvator needed to sterilize the nails to get rid of any DNA traces, and make sure nothing was left behind, and of course she had to make it look like this woman wasn't murdered.
If it looked like a murder it was never good, cause murders lead to investigations, which leads to possible exposure of the facility.
And exposure leads to complications, shows failure, and that will lead to punishment. And punishment could lead to death.
Salvator wiped off the knife handle, and put on gloves, smearing some of the woman's blood on the handle and more on the blade itself. She then stuck the knife back in the woman's stomach and leaned her up against the left wall, behind a dumpster. Salvator then took off the gloves, putting them in the small knapsack she carried, and pulled out a small device. She clicked the button on the side, and it started blinking red.

"Mission set 53-3-8 completed," Salvator said, her voice almost like a robot's, blank.

"Return back to base," the deep voice said from the device.

Salvator then let go of the button, and put the device back in the bag. She pushed herself up to her full height, and strided out of the alley. The cars rushing by and the honking of the them was quite normal, so it would cover any mild noises. Salvator confidently strided down the sidewalk, watching the dim lights ahead flicker endlessly. Her eyes flicked from side to side rythmatically keeping all movement noticed. The towering brick buildings seemed to make the black sky dissapear. All of a sudden, Salvator heard footsteps behind her.

"Hey, little girl, you need a ride somewhere?" A dim voice asked.

"No thanks," Salvator said, and kept on walking, laying no mind to the person.

"Come on little lady," the man suddenly stepped infront of her and she could see him much clearer. He was carrying a knife in his right hand, and he had a powerful build.

"I see that knife, little man," Salvator said mockingly, and then pushed past him.

The man then brought up the knife to her neck, but it stopped a foot away from her.

"What the hell-" the man said, at a loss for words.

"Didn't your mother ever tell you to respect women?" Salvator said bluntly, as she turned around to show that her eyes were glowing a bloody red.
The man tried to pull his arm back, but he couldn't move an inch.

"What have you done to me?!" The man cried out.

"I've taught you a lesson, have I not? Although, you may as well let you teach yourself a lesson," Salvator said, and flicked her wrist, and the man's right arm went flying back towards to him and the knife to his forehead, and cut the word 'idiot' into his head. He cried out in pain, and dropped to his knees after the word had been carved.

"I'll be going now," Salvator said, and went back to walking away from the bustling city. She sighed, murder and hurting people was such a bother, but it was what she was raised to do. Get info, kill, torture, scare. That was the purpose of the subjects at the facility.

--------------
After a while, Salvator got back to the facility and walked in the doors; nodding to the staff standing guard. She was welcomed back by her friend, Sage.

"How was it?? Did you complete the mission flawlessly as usual??" Sage asked excitedly, she was practically bouncing up and down.

"Of course I did, Sage. Maybe you'll be sent on your own solo mission soon," Salvator replied as she frumpled up Sage's hair and continued walking.

"Oh, I hope so. Do you think it'll be soon?" Sage asked, now jogging to keep up with Salvator.

"It may be. It's hard to say," Salvator said, and gave her a rare smile.

Sage returned the smile and skipped along beside her.

"Salvator, how did the meeting fare?" A voice asked followed by a pair of quick footsteps.

"It went well, as it always does," Salvator sighed, and looked over to see Flix with her dirty blond hair all in a mess.

"You always complete them so easily," Flix said exasperatedly, "Hey do you know where James is? I can't find him."

"I think he was on the roof doing balance exercises or something," Sage said as the trio turned left down the hall.

"He's gonna fall and break his arm again," Flix said worriedly, and ran off.

Sage and Salvator exchanged looks of worry and chased after Flix. The stone walls of the facility made their footsteps echo as they ran through the winding halls and up the stairs to finally reach the roof. There, they saw James standing on the verge of the gutters.

"James what the hell are you doing?! Get back over here!" Flix yelled, beckoning James.

"Shushsh!!" James snapped, turning around to see Flix. The metal roof was precarious at the very least, and someone standing on the edge was just pure stupid.

"James you dumbass get back over here," Salvator said calmly as she offered her hand out for him to grab.

"Harry told me I need to practice my balance!" James said, glaring at the trio.

"Well he didn't tell you to kill yourself! Get your ass back over here, now," Salvator said demandingly.

"Ugh fine," James said, rolling his eyes. He took a step towards Salvator's outstreched hand, and all of a sudden his foot slipped on the slick roof and he fell backwards. James felt himself falling, as if it were a slow motion before he hit the ground in a splat. His trance stopped as he felt someone grab his hand.

"Dumbass," Salvator said, and pulled him back onto the roof.

"Are you okay, James?" Sage asked worriedly looking up at James' striking grey eyes.

"Yeah, fine. I totally didn't just almost fall off the roof," said James, laughing.

"Dude it's not funny! You could've died!" Flix scolded. She gave him a little shove, glaring at him.

"You're welcome James," Salvator said, walking back to the door.
