"I'm sorry, y/n... you mother..... did not make it" my aunt said her voice full with sadness

I felt myself fall down to the floor on my apartment back in Barcelona

Why?

"I- no, no" I said trying to put real words together

"I'm so sorry honey" she said, but I tuned her out my thought fully on my sister and what will happen.

"I-" the tears rolled down my cheeks my whole body practically paralyzed "Ella? ,does she know?" I asked my voice trembling with emotion

"No not yet" my aunt said sniffling

"Ok- I want to tell her, I'm getting the next flight home" I said getting up  from the floor getting my laptop so I could see when the next flight is

"Ok- call me when you feel a little better" my aunt said hanging up the phone

I cried and cried at I looked for a flight back home

I heard the door open

"Mi hija..." I looked up squinting to see through my tears
My mother stood in the doorway of my apartment

"Mama?" I said pushing my laptop of my lap running over to her pulling me into her arms

"Take care of your sister, and I love you so much never forget that" she said as she pulled from the hug walking away
I tried to grab her hand but I couldn't get her, she walked away into the hallway that was filled with bright white light until she disappeared

i gasped as i sat up from the dream... more like nightmare.

i brushed my hand through my hair,

feeling the sweat on my forehead. I looked around the room, taking in my surroundings and realizing that I was in my own bed, safe and sound. I let out a sigh of relief, grateful that it was just a dream.

I pushed it as far back ad I could but it seemed to come back even worse.

"¿Qué pasa?" Gavi asked sitting up rubbing his eyes, his voice raspy and tired.

"Solo una pesadilla, vuelve a dormir"(nothing just a nightmare, go back to sleep) i said laying back down snuggling closer into Gavi.

he pulled me into a hug brushing through my hair with his fingers, i felt safe with him like nothing could hurt me but now more than ever i missed my mother, so much and knowing Shes in the hospital from the car crash hurt me even more. I couldn't help the tears that started to fall down my face as I thought about all the things, I wish I could have said to her before the accident.

Gavi noticed my tears and pulled me closer, " it's okay," he said, "I'm here for you."

I clung onto him tightly, grateful for his presence and comfort. I knew that I couldn't change the past but having Gavi by my side helped me to cope with the pain and find some sense of peace.

As the tears subsided and I finally fell back asleep, I knew that I would never forget the past, but i have Gavi, victoria, sira ,Pedri and so many other people that care about me and this dream was just an ant in my life.

i woke up the next morning with the linger of the nightmare at the back of my mind but i pushed it back even more trying to worry about it.

i looked over to find Gavi still sleeping as always, i smiled as i looked at him, i looked so peaceful sleeping.

i got out of bed making my way to my suitcase grabbing a pair of sweatpants and a bralette, all i wanted to really do today was rest.

as i rummage through my suitcase Gavi started to stir and slowly opened his eyes, "Good morning beautiful," he said with a sleepy smile.
