I don't have time to object as Jacks strong arm latches onto my own, practically dragging my non-functional body from the cell. Im out the door in a matter of seconds when he turns around to look at me.

'No turning back now.'

I cannot believe this is happening, 'Your signing your own death sentence by helping me.' I remind, making sure he wants to do this.

A smile spreads across his face as he grabs onto my arm and takes off.

And so we run. The run that dictates the rest of our lives.

I follow Jacks lead as he keeps hold of me, we weave throughout the dungeon, taking sharp turns and running down staircases of stone. My legs somehow figured out how to function as they move with a mind of their own.

Jack dosen't slow his pace, running so fast because now it's not just my life on the line. It's his too.

My legs burn as they come into contact with the hard stone, aching with every step. 'Don't stop Aliera.' Jack bites out as he pushes him self to his own wits end.

I hear clashes of armour from behind, not close but still too close for my liking. 'They're onto us! Don't stop now.' Jack adds again, taking a sharp left before a quick right.

The torches of fire illuminating the passage ways roar at my presence, burning even brighter as I pass them.

If only I knew how to chanel my power again.

Jack doesn't ease his grip as we come across another staircase, he loses his balance before the both of us go flying down.

My head collides with atleast three steps before the rest of my body catches the brunt of the fall. Jack lets out a growl of pain as we reach the bottom, two limp bodies tangled in one another. A groan escapes my mouth as I push myself up, we've come so far.

No turning back now.

I stand up ignoring the pounding inside of my head and turn to Jack who still lays on the ground.

I grab Jacks arm and pull him up with everything I have left in me. 'If we stop we are both dead, we need to keep going' I struggle. He finally gathers himself before taking ahold of my arm again.

'They went this way!'

Shit shit shit.

'Jack RUN!'

All of a sudden coolness explodes under my bare feet, the feeling of wet grass engulfing them. Rain from the sky pours down, instantly drenching the both of us.

I don't know how.

But we are out.

'Where to now?!' I scream as rain drowns out my voice.

Jack comes close, placing his large hands on either side of my face. 'The docks, I have a boat!' he yells over the merciless rain, 'your going home!' a hint of sadness crosses his face as the lightning lights it up.

His eyes quickly flash.

'Green like the Forrest trees' I say, looking up at him. Confusion sets across Jacks face, 'what!?' He tries to understand over the rain and thunder.

'Your eyes! They are green like Forrest trees!' I yell back at him.

He smiles, shaking his head lightly.

We continue to run throughout the storm, racing down the pavement that leads to a small dock full of boats.

Clashing in the distance makes me whip my head back to the castle we just escaped.
