THIS TAKES PLACE AFTER ORDER 66, K?)(also this takes place in season 2 and is highly bassed off it, so if you haven't watched season 2 I recommend you do)

Also sorry this took so long. I've had writers block and I'm trying to fight it off.

Warning(s): Slight injury (but it isn't described much), and Hunter fluff. (Also if anyone has requests PLEASE post them. I have absolutely no idea what to write rn)

A month before the Bad Batch met Omega, you "died" in an explosion. You actually managed to run about halfway through the forest before you passed out from exhaustion. They didn't think to look there. They never spoke of you to Omega. You were stranded on this planet when Order 66 happened. You had to fight your friends from the 212th, but you did watch General Kenobi successfully escape. Which made you feel a bit better about the whole situation. But something still ached in the back of your mind. What if your team did this too?

You tried to ignore the idea, believing it would be best to forget about them. But no matter how much you told yourself you could never seem to forget them. You walked into Cid's parlour. Wanting another mission since you aced the last one. "Ah, there you are!" Cid exclaimed. She always had a soft spot for you. She said you reminded her of an old friend. "Hey Cid." You responded. "I got a new mission for you!" She seemed more excited than usual. "Listen, as long as the death rate isn't extremely high, I'm in." You stated. She seemed over the moon about this. "Good, you have to steal a war chest." Your eyes widened at this. You already agreed to this, and you weren't willing to back out. Cid briefed you on the mission's details, you thanked her, then left. This would be a challenging mission alone, but you've done worse.

*****

You were landing on the surface of Serenno. Cid had sent you here before, to bring back some silver Stormtrooper armour. You did, even brought back his helmet. You scanned the area, there was four patrol groups with six Stormtroopers in each group. The rustling to the right drew your attention. You could have sworn that the armour looked familiar, but it might have been a coincidence. You managed to sneak through the patrols - thanks to a couple ships exploding - and into a cargo box. It was surprisingly big. The door opened again, revealing something that couldn't be true. It was Tech, Echo, Wrecker and a little girl. So that armour you saw before was Hunter. You should have stopped him. But it's too late for that now. A candle fell off of the shelf, revealing your location. You looked up at the two men with fear as the drew their blasters. "Wait! It's me." You took off your mask. You could only see part of Tech's facial expression, but you could feel the shock on both of their faces.

"Y/N." Echo was the first to talk. They both engulfed you in a hug. Omega just stood there, a little dazed. The door closed before you could react. Echo went to unlock it, which didn't do anything. The ship started taking off, leaving you stuck in there. "We should detach the crates." You stated. Tech nodded as he ran to the other door. He typed in a couple things then you started falling. You hated this feeling. Falling. Omega accidentally let go, and so did you. Except yours was on purpose. You grabbed Omega and threw her back to Echo. And luckily he caught her. You had armour on, so the fall probably wouldn't be that bad.

You were wrong.

******

The fall you took knocked you out. Echo was frantically trying to wake you up. You groaned as you sat up. That fall probably broke a rib. Or two. "Well, it's good to see you guys haven't changed much." You joked. No one laughed in return. Well, at least you tried. "Where's Hunter?" You asked. "He's on the planet somewhere. Our plan involved us splitting up." Tech explained. You nodded. The crate started falling again. "Well, it appears we aren't done falling." Tech stated. "You think!?" You yelled back as you ran to the opposite side of the crate. Here we go again.

The landing hurt like hell, but you were fine. It was Tech who got hurt. Which, honestly wasn't surprising. He always got hurt on missions. Echo - with us good hand - helped you up. Quickly you made your way towards Tech, who was wincing at any sudden movement. It was a hairline fracture. You made a splint with the limited items you had in your bag. Tech was staring at you with such shock. "What?" You asked. "Your alive." He breathed out, almost like the words were unnatural. You nodded. "I guess I am." You replied. Echo helped Tech up and slowly made their way to a standing position. You assumed you were on a ledge of some sort. It only made sense. You climbed the wall, which was the floor at one point. Echo, Tech and the girl stood at the bottom while you were at the top. The crate was on its side, on a small ledge. This thing could give at any moment. And you, for one, didn't want to be on it once it gave way. "See anything?!" Echo shouted to you. "We're on a ledge! I'm gonna throw down a rope and try to get up to the actual mountain!" You shouted back.

***** (another time skip. Yay.) *****

After climbing up and getting everyone else up, you were walking through a forest. Honestly you thought that Tech had gotten you lost. It had happened before but he would never admit it. Out of curiosity, you ran your hand against a tree. Training over blaster marks. Mumbling something about there being a battle here. You didn't see it happen - you were to caught up in your own thoughts - but Tech, Echo and Omega had their blaster in hand. Pointed at and old friend of yours. (I can't actually remember his name and Google isn't helping me so I'm making up a name) "Charlie?!" You shouted. He seemed utterly relieved you were there. "(Y/N)!" He replied. You both hugged while the current members of the batch lowered their weapons. "I hate to ask, but how do you too know each other?" Tech asked. "I did a bounty here a while ago." You replied vaguely. Not wanting to share to many details about that mission.
Charlie nodded and took you all back to his house. It was quite generous of him. Which means he hasn't changed since you were last here. Echo was pacing around the house. Frantically trying to contact Hunter. You were currently bandaging Tech's leg which the limited resources in your back pack. Omega was following Charlie around. Asking far to many questions about him. He never was fond of children and Omega - no offence - was not about to change this. Your com started going off. It was Zero, another bounty Hunter you worked with. "Hello?" You questioned. Tech stopped what he was doing to listen. "Hey, Deadshot right? I'm a- I'm gonna need your help." Zero admitted. "Kinda busy right now. What's going on?" You asked, concern tugging its way at your voice. "Well, remember that Sith we fought a couple years back?" He paused. You just nodded, as if he could see you. "She still holds a grudge. And she tracked me all the way to Harcrum." Your eyes widened at this. "How long do you think you can hold out?" You asked. He hummed in response. "Probably a day or so. She hasn't exactly found me yet but she talked to her men about me." He explained a bit more of the situation before you told him to try and wait it out, that you'd figure something out like he always did for you.
     "Where's Omega?" Echo asked.

This caused you to be snapped out of your thoughts and focus on the current problem. Omega was gone. And you knew exactly where she was.

*****(again, timeskip!)*****

(So this takes place after the whole battle and the Marauder has just landed to pick you all up. I really hope that explanation makes sense.)

The ship landed and Echo was the first one to greet Wrecker and Hunter. Hunter. Hunter. Gosh just thinking about his name makes your heart flutter. Tech was limping slowly towards the group. You offered your help and he accepted. Which was surprising. He never really accepted help. You continued to walk towards their ship, lost in your thoughts. The cold night air surrounded you. It almost felt like home. But not quite cold enough. "Y/N?" Hunter whispered. Your head shot up to look a his. Tech, who was leaning against you, shifted his weight to a tree to your right. You both just stood there.

Motionless.

Well, that was before Hunter grabbed you and your were in his arms. Those arms you had almost died in. Light sobs could be heard from Hunter. You pulled away. "Your alive." He gasped, cupping your face. "How?" He asked. The sadness of his face had left, only for concern to replace it. "It's a long story." You replied. He sighed and said, "Don't worry. I have all the time in the galaxy for you."
