Chapter 2

Mal’s POV

I was out on the balcony of the palace with Bailey by my side. We were looking through our binoculars to see if we could see Uma. I was minding my own business when I hear Bailey squeal and then I did it myself.

Mal- Not a tentacle in sight.

Ben- I think if Uma was up to something, it'd be done by now.

Carlos- No, Ben, we know how villains think, and we don't trust Uma as far as Mal can throw her.

Bailey- She's gonna wait until our defenses are down and then that's when she's gonna strike. I bet Mal wished she could go into a dragon and fly over so you can see much higher.

Mal- You got that right.

Ben- Well, you can't be everywhere at once. Besides, I've got your back. Come on, everyone waiting for us.

Bailey- Wait. You're getting more guards.

Ben- Yes, Bailey, I'm getting more guards.

Carlos- Hey, breathe. He's your twin and big brother. He will always look out for you.

Ben&Carlos- Come on.

Mal&Bailey- Okay.

We then walked to the front garden in front of the school.

Evie- Here they come.

When we got to the front, we went to this podium. Bailey and I were about to walk off when we got told to stay.

Fairy Godmother- Oh, stay.

Bailey- Stay here?

Fairy Godmother- Yes.

Mal- Weird.

Her and I chuckled.

Fairy Godmother- Bippity-boppity, one-tow, one-two, can everybody hear me?

*Cheers*

Fairy Godmother- Ben.

Ben- Thank you, Fairy Godmother. What's up, Auradon?

*Cheers*

Ben- Thank you, thank you so much for coming out to welcome our new arrivals. They'll be here soon.

Queen Leah- Not like we had a choice.

Bailey- It worked out pretty well for the first four.

Chad- Yeah, especially for you two.

Audrey- Real funny.

Ben- Mal, this is the exact spot we first met not so long ago. I feel like I've known you my whole life. But did I mention I'm in love with you?

Bailey’s POV

I was standing next to Carlo when Ben sang Mal a song just for her. I then saw him get down on one knee. There is no way this is happening.

Ben- Mal, it's you and me. It's you and me forever. Will you marry me? Will you be my queen?

Audrey- No!

Mal- Yes.

Ben then put the ring on Mal’s finger. They then kissed and smiled at each other. I hugged Carlos and he hugged me back.

Ben- Can I have your attention, please? Before we finish this excitement, there is another announcement. But it's not coming from me. It's going to be coming from my future brother-in-law.

I looked at Ben weirdly.

Bailey- Carlos, why did he say brother…

I turned around and saw Carlos on one knee. Tears started to fall from my eyes. There is no way this is happening.

Carlos- Bailey, I knew from the very beginning that I knew it was going to be me and you forever. And I hope that we can continue that for the rest of our lives. So, Bailey Beast, will you marry me?

I was lost for words so I just nodded my head.

*Cheers*

He came up and brought me into a tight hug. He kissed my forehead and then put the ring on my finger. He brought me into another hug. I did not want to let go. I was a crying mess right now. They were happy tears though. 

Doug- Makes our movie night seem a little lame.

Evie- I love you– movies.

Doug- Me, too.

Evie- Yeah.

Queen Leah- I lifetime of plans. Gone. Our family status, gone. Audrey, you were supposed to be his queen, and you let him slip through your fingers. Your mother could hold on to a prince in her sleep.

Audrey- Don't you think I feel bad enough already, Grammy?

Girl #1- Ben and Mal are the best! Same with Bailey and Carlos!

Girl #2- I can't wait for them to rule the kingdom.

Audrey- You'd really rather have a VK on the throne than me? What is wrong with you people? What is wrong with everybody?
