Chapter 9

Mal’s POV

We are now on our way to the Isle to get Hades’ ember so stop whatever Audrey is up to.

Mal- Noble steed, proud and fair, you shall take us anywhere.

We are now on the water to the Isle.

Dude- Guys! You're gonna miss Bailey’s birthday!

Bailey’s POV

Chad- Looks like the VKs forgot Bailey’s birthday, huh?

Jane- Well, maybe not, maybe they just took the wrong trail or something. Or, you know what? They probably don't celebrate birthdays on the Isle, maybe it's like a cultural thing.

Chad- Oh. Yeah. Or maybe they just forgot. You never know.

Boy, he's getting annoying.

Jane- Hey, Chad, look! There's people taking selfies.

Chad- Selfies! Guys! Wait, wait, wait, wait! Wait for me! Wait for me!

Girl #1- Why is she here?

Audrey- Anybody save me any guacamole? No? Looks like someone forgot to invite me. Well, don't be expecting Mal, she, uh… not feeling herself. Does that make you sad? Aw, does it just ruin everything? Mindless little drones! How could you forget what she did to us? How could you forget that I was supposed to be your queen?!

Chad- Time out! Okay, time out. First off, great new look. I love the feathers. But before you do whatever you're gonna do, I was wondering if maybe you wanted a, uh, royal boyfriend by your side. Huh? Partner in crime? Sidekick? Or maybe just a lackey to, uh, so you bidding. Change tires, Smoothie runs? Huh? Please.

Audrey- You can be useful. Yeah? Fine, stand behind me.

Chad- Okay.

Audrey- If Auradon likes to forget so much, they'll love this.

She then started to sing. Jane looked behind her and slowly crept into the enchanted lake so her spell won't affect me.

Audrey- Sweet dreams.

As soon as the pink smoke disappeared, Jane got a phone call and it was from Ben.

Ben- Hey, Jane, I am on my way to the party, the meeting ran a little bit longer than we thought.

Jane- No, no, stay where are, Ben. Audrey stole the scepter and everyone’s asleep. I'm gonna call mom and tell her to get her wand.

Ben- Is Mal with you?

The phone then started breaking up.

Ben- Jane! Jane!

Mal’s POV

Mal- Hey! I'm me again.

Celia- Duh! Evil magic doesn't work here. Kind of the point.

We walked to Dr. Faciler's workplace so Celia can get her key. Those two decided to catch up when I heard Carlos say something.

Carlos- Uh, guys? Come look at this.

TV Man- There are rumors that Sleeping Beauty’s daughter, Audrey, is behind the spell. We're trying to discover who is responsible for these vicious lies and which villain has perpetrated this evil. We have an update. It's what? It's moving this way? It's moving this way!

Carlos- Well that's just great. But I hope Bailey is okay.

Mal- Yea where is she?

Carlos- She went back to the castle and decided to lay down for a bit then when it was time to go to her party.

I just nodded my head. Celia and I went to Hades' lair to get his ember. About 20 minutes later, we got his ember and are on our way back to Auradon.
