The climax of the war that's Toumra had caused destruction a whole city with his simple quirk decay. He had injured most of heroes those who faced him.
But at one point in battle, All for one who took control of Tomura's body then attacks Deku, who was saved thanks to Katsuki Bakugo, leaving him great injured.
Deku had lashes out of his furious toward Tomura...

Afterward left him injured and Deku falls tired, failed letting Tomura escaped along his nomus.
Some days later, he has woken up from small coma and conversations with former One for All carriers, till in further although... Izuku made his choice
