"Pretending to be okay makes me evеn lonelier" - Han Jisung

he ran to the same spot where he met jisung only a few weeks ago. the rain had made his hair droop and his clothes soggy. he didn't mind. he could have been dipped in the ocean for all he cared, but he knew he wanted to see han.

unfortunately, there was no sign of him. he decided to wait a bit. a bit became minutes. which became more minutes. which became hours. it was 2am when lee know woke up in a strange area with a blanket thrown over him and cold tea to his right on the unrecognizable couch he was laying on.

everything was dark except a tiny lamp on a table next to a chair by the couch. lee know rubbed his eyes and looked at his surroundings. soon, he realized he wasn't alone. there was a boy fast asleep on the chair next to him. he had beautiful brown hair. the prettiest eyelashes. and the same sun necklace. the same exact necklace jisung was wearing.

it only to lee know a few seconds to realize he was in the presence of han, but then he quickly freaked out again. after a minute of staring at the sleeping beauty, jisung slowly woke up batting his eyelids to focus on the boy in front of him.

"lee..know..is that you?" han said while yawning trying to focus his stare on the boy surrounded by darkness.

"jisung? what ha- where am i?"

"don't worry, i didn't kidnap you or anything. well act- nevermind. we are at my apartment. you were asleep by the rails and you were freezing. how long were you out there? i hope you aren't sick."

"mm well, i went out there around 12ish." lino said sniffling.

"good lord lee know. hold on i'm going to get some medicine, why were you out there in that downpour for so long?? do you not check the weather?"

"wait, don't go. please don't go. i was out there waiting for you, jisung."

han sat back down hearing lee know's words. nobody ever had said anything like that to him before. he froze for a solid minute.

"why were you waiting for me?"

"one of the things you told me that night. you told me that the moon and sun never leave each other. they are stuck together, no matter what. so, why should i leave you?"
