Chapter Four~Invitations (Nobody's Pov)

The next day...

It was 4:16 in the afternoon as William walked down the street back in the direction of his house. The cold air washing over his face, he quite liked the feeling. As he walked he thought he heard someone call his name
William!
He continued walking, ignoring the sound he thought he heard.

Switching to Henry's Pov

My mother said she would be home late today so I decided to walk around the neighborhood for a while before heading back to the house. As I walked, I saw William just a few feet ahead of me so I called his name
"William!"
He just kept walking and didn't answer.
"Is that not William? Maybe not.." I thought to myself.
I stared at him for a second, his hair, it was familiar.. dark brown with little blonde streaks. So, I did as most would do and called his name again

Williams Pov

William?

I heard someone call my name once again, this time I stopped in my tracks and turned around. Confused, I stared at Henry who was walked towards me with a small, but sweet smile on his face. I couldn't help but smile back.

"Hey!" Henry said. "Oh, uh- Hi" I was still confused, I thought he had forgotten about me by now. My face isn't very memorable. "If im being honest, I thought you had forgotten about me. Heh.." I added
"Forgotten about you? No, never! You're my only friend. Unless you don't consider us friends, that's completely fine!" Henry said with a bit of a nervous tone. "No, no, it's fine. I didn't think you thought of me as a friend. But if you want, we could make this friendship official."
Henry's eyes lit up with happiness as his smile grew wider,  "I would love to!" He said
I could feel my lips turn up into a smile, a happy one, a smile I haven't felt in years. "Great! how about we hang out tomorrow? I know a nice place by the park where we could hang out"
"Sounds just perfect, Will! Oh, you don't mind if I call you that, right?"
I couldn't help but giggle slightly
"not at all"
Henry let out a sigh of relief "thank goodness, I don't want to make you uncomfortable"
"Trust me, you're fine to call me almost anything"
"Alright! Oh, also, I would like to ask if you would come to my house for dinner tonight?" Henry asked
"Come to your house? For dinner?" I was confused, did he really want me at his house?
"Yeah! Seeing as it's 4:30, My mom should be home soon and you can meet her"
"I would love to" I replied
"Great!" I could see the happiness in Henry's emerald green eyes, it gave me this feeling, an odd feeling. It made me feel all warm and happy. Maybe I only felt like this because he is my only friend, but damn, I want it to last forever.

"Will?"

"Will!"

Henry shook me slightly, his hands on my shoulders. "Are you okay? You weren't answering me"
I didn't even realize that I was completely zoned out, "Yeah, sorry. I just zoned out a bit"
He took his hands off of my shoulders "Alright, well, I'm going to head back to my house. Wanna come with?" Henry asked.
"No thanks, I'm going to head back to my house and get changed." I replied. "Oh, okay. Don't forget about dinner though!" Henry said as he turned and started running away
"Don't worry, I won't!" I yelled back, watching him run in the opposite direction until he disappeared down the street. I sighed, now feeling lonely. I turned and began walking back in the direction of my house.
