"Calla!"

I smiled when I went out of my Van. I hugged her quickly.

"'Di ka pa rin nagbabago noong isang bisita mo sa amin," she said while her hands at the back.

"I am glad to see you again, Tita Sophia," magalang kong ani.

Tumingin siya sa aking likod. Napangiti siya sabay baling sa'kin. She was a girl version of Lolo. Slim, fair skin, round face, and intimidating eyebrows. The sun shines in her black eyes as the wind blew her straight black hair. Her turned-up nose move as she stretched her full lips to show her teeth.

"'Lika kayo. Pasok," aya niya.

I smiled that she never like Lola's attitude.

"I heard you went to the Philippines this year.

Wearing my gorgeous tailored blue double-breasted belt waist-long trench coat jacket. Together with my plain dark blue skirt and white t-shirt on my inner. Paired with some heels...while heels to be exact. And I let my straight hair in a free today.

Their house here was not big as the Caledonia Mansion but I know she was happy here.

"I miss here, Tita," pag-aamin ko.

"You never change all the way, Calla. But I love how you visit and remain lowkey. Wala kang make-up ngayon pero look at you.

" Thank you, Tita."

I don't want to say things that I will regret soon.

Pero I'm sure, Grace didn't want you to be hungry alone so I know she fed you exactly," and she laughed.

"Mommy never changes, Tita, as you know.

"She never was."

"But Tita. Ahm..you can visit the Philippines anytime," I slowly said.

She smiled and looked at me.

"I don't want too, Calla. My life is in here. And besides, I know we can handle the company here and ikaw na ang bahala sa hacienda. After all, lumaki ka rin doon."

"It's just I don't want to be back there for good. After all, kuya and my parents visit me here."

"But you never miss the Caledonia? Perhaps?"

She sighed and looked away, continue preparing the dishes and plates.
