The riders are returning home today! Your so happy you could cry happy tears. When the knights land on their nightmare beasts some of them jump off and run to their lovers. You glance around and finally see your dad run towards you. You laugh and jump up in his arms.
"Daddy!" You shout, nuzzling his neck with happy tears streaming down your cheeks. (At this time your about 5-6)
"Lets go in and eat some dinner. I haven't had a good home cooked meal in a while.." He smiles as he carries you inside. You sit down at the table after your mom and dad hugged a kissed. Your mom sets down a plate of octopus tentacles with 'burn sauce' as you like to call it. It helps you eat it better because it doesn't stop moving if you don't put it on. Your dad tells you all about his adventures and such.
After a while your mind starts to trail off and you turn around and stare out the window. A kid. Around 5 or 6. Just kneeling on the ground screaming into the forest. Your parents obviously can't hear it as they keep talking while holding hands.
"Mommy, Daddy, Im going out." You say as you walk out the door but not before hearing,
"Okay (Y/n) but you better come in soon it looks like rain." You nod as you grab up an umbrella by the door. You walk out and then close the door behind you, and then walk over to the boy who's silently crying.
"Hey, are you okay?" You ask cautiously as you drag the umbrella across the ground. He sniffles,
"I-I'm fine, now go away!" He shouts still not facing you. The first drop of rain hits you right on the nose, with lots more to follow. You stare down at the boy and then put the umbrella up blocking you both from the rain. He pulls his face out of his hands and slowly looks over at you. "You still stay? After I was mean to you?" He asks tears strolling down his cheeks.
You just smile. "Of course." You giggle and then hug him with the umbrella still blocking you both from the rain. "Now, whats wrong?" You ask trying to part the hug but his grip tightens.
"My dad didn't return home.." He whispers as you feel his tears wet your shoulder. You hug him tighter looking above him as the pouring rain pounds on the umbrella.
"Then we'll wait for him." You smile.
"I miss him." He whispers.
"I'm sure you do.." You whisper to him rubbing his back with your hand like you saw your father do to your mother when she was upset. You can feel him shiver a little bit. "Lets get you inside." You say helping him up and starting to walk towards your house.
"What's your name?" You ask.
"G-Ghirahim" He says with a slight smile on his lips.
"Well its nice to meet you Ghirahim, I'm (Y/n)." You smile brightly as you open the door and walk in. A burst of heat reaches your skin. Ghirahim sighs out as you put the wet umbrella away to dry.
"Who's your friend, (Y/n)?" Your mom asks.
"Mom, dad this is Ghirahim. His dad hasn't returned home yet so I promised to wait with him. Can he stay the night?" You ask.
"Of course if that's okay with-" Your mom starts to say until You dad whispers something in her ear.
"What I was going to say, before I was interrupted, was Of course he can stay if he wants to." Your mom smiles.
"Yay!" You laugh. "C'mon lets go to my room!" You smile dragging Ghirahim up the stairs. Opening the door to your room you glance around and realize its a total mess. 'Now I know why mom always tells me to clean it...' You think to your self. "Hehe, sorry about the mess you smile as you lead Ghirahim to the bed. After that you both lay down and talk until you fall asleep.

Morning~

"Kids breakfast!" Your awoken by the sound of your mother calling you downstairs. You sit up and rub your eyes. Ghirahim shifts a little bit under the covers as you look down at him. 'Aw what can I say? He looks to adorable..' You think to your self with a small smile. "Ghirahim...." You whisper shaking him gently.
"mmhmm?" He asks. "You hungry?" You ask.
"Yea..." He mumbles out and then sits up rubbing his eyes. You lead him down stairs and eat pancakes. A special human treat that demons like so much.
"Dad can me and Ghirahim go for a walk in the forest?" You ask.
"Of course. I don't see why not." He replies.
"Ready?" You ask Ghirahim.
"Only if you are." He smiles making you giggle and then run outside with him and off into the forest. (With the right supplies of course.)
