~Alex pov~
"Ahhhh!!" I shot up in my bed drenched in sweat and panting heavily from the nightmare I just had. "Damnit."
I would turn over and curl up in my bed and bring my cover over my head and close my eyes going back to sleep. Just as I was about to drift off to sleep I heard my phone ring and I rolled my eyes and tried to ignore it. But the more ignored it the louder it got
I gave up on trying to ignore it and turned over then answered it. "If you're not dying or on fire I'm hanging up" I say into my phone but no responds
Just as I was about to hang up I heard a deep gruff voice come through my phone "scusa amore mio non volevo svegliarti ma sei in ritardo per il lavoro stavo solo controllando" the voice says and I immediately know who it is.
"King you know I don't speak Italian what do you want" I say with my voice still laced with sleep.
But instead of a response he just starts laughing and I roll my eyes. "Mmm love you have a very sexy morning voice" he says purposely making his voice deeper.
"Get on with it or I'm hanging up" I say starting to get annoyed that he woke me up from my sleep.
"Fine, I was just calling because you're 10 minutes late to work and you and I was just checking on you amore mio. Plus you have a really hot morning voice and I just wanted to hear it."
I shot out of my bed ignoring the last part of what he said. "Shit!!" I yelled as I quickly ran to the bathroom and took the quickest shower of my life. When I finished my shower I got dressed faster than Berry Allen post lighting shock.
When I was done getting ready I picked up my phone seeing King still there. "I'll see you when I get there bye" I hung up and put on my shoes and grabbed my keys, just letting my hair air dry since I didn't have time to do it having time to do it.
When I pull up to the building I quickly park and hop down from my jeep. Walking into the building I smile and wave at Angel then goes up to my office.
When I walked into my office I saw King sitting on my desk doing something on his phone so I pulled out my phone and pretended like I was taking pictures.
"Mmm fine, sexy, yes just like that" I say and he looked up at me and started making faces so I started actually taking pictures
"I'm keeping those" I said putting my phone back in my bag and hugging him while laughing.
"Well hello to you too my love." He says as I walk behind my besk to sit down and log on to my computer.
"So what's going on today?" I ask looking up at him while he still sits on my desk.
"The boss is coming today. Hell be here in about 20 minutes." He says then looks back down at his phone and starts typing on it.
I tilted my head confused as I got up and grabbed a few papers out of my drawer and walked out of my office with King right behind me. "I thought he lives in Italy why is he coming here?" I asked King as we walked down the hall to the elevator.
"You didn't know, he's moving here." King says. I stopped walking and turned around to look at him.
"What!? No I didn't know that! How the hell was I supposed to know that!" I said then turned around and kept walking until we arrived at the elevator. Then we stepped in.
"Well it's been going around the office for a while now." King shrugs as he presses the button for the elevator to go down.
"Don't you have work to do?" I turned and asked King.
"Yes I'm going down to help Angel john called off today his wife was having their baby." King say as the elevator came to a stop and the doors started opening.
"That's nice I have to remember to congratulate him when he comes back" I say then I turn to step off the elevator but as I'm turning I bump into someone but before I could apologize I felt very hot liquids slide down my back and tears forming in my eyes.
I wanted to cry and scream but I kept my cool and turned around to apologize. Then without even looking up at the person I quickly walked out of the office building taking my shirt off as fast as possible.
When I got in my car I was in tears and I was sure my back was bright red and blistering. I couldn't feel it but I was a medical student so I just guessed.
As I was starting my car King ran out and knocked on my window. Before I rolled down my window I quickly wiped my face. "Yes?" I would ask King once my window was down.
"I was just checking on you. I know how sensitive you are with your back." he basically whispered the last part with a look of concern on his face.
I just faked a smile "yeah I'm fine I'm just going home to change."
"Bull shit. You always keep a spear change of clothes in your trunk. Alex you can't lie to me. Go home I'll tell the boss you had an emergency." He said and I turned away from home feeling the tears pool in my eyes again.
"Thank you King I'll come back and finish my-" he cut me off by glaring at me.
"Anytime neonata but don't you dare I'll finish for you" he says and I shake my head pouting.
"No I'll be back to finish it." I said and before he had a chance to disagree I pulled out the parking lot.
I drove to his house and got in by using my key. I can't go home he's probably there. I went to my room in his house and took a nap to calm down.
