Ari and Christa were eating their breakfast together. By now they both got to the mess hall at the same time. After Ari had opened up a little bit about his childhood like his dad Christa had also told him about her past as well. Of course she hadn't told him about her father or being a royal, and Ari hadn't told her about being a titan. One thing Ari did tell Christa about that she took a liking to was how every morning when Ari woke up he and his dad would always hug. Christa suggested that they carried on the tradition and Ari gladly agreed, so when they met in the morning the first thing they did was hug.

Christa: So how are you feeling about today? About... y'know the expedition?

with a hint of nervousness and worry in his voice he told her the truth.

Ari: Well, I won't lie, Christa, I'm nervous. I know I'll do fine but....I wanna be with you. I'd be worried if I wasn't.

Christa took one of his hands and tried to speak to him in a calming voice.

Christa: Ari, it's ok. I promise no matter what I'll find my way back to you.

Ari smiled at her, this really helped reassure him.

Christa: Besides, I've learned a lot from you, I'll be just fine.

Ari: Good point, thanks, Christa.

Christa then blushed and looked down at her food before turning to Ari again who had gone back to his meal. She reached one hand forward and it began to snake around to the back of Ari's neck.

Christa: A-Ari.

Ari turned his attention back to her after taking a sip of water. When he did, the hand that had snaked its way behind his neck pulled him in and Christa planted a warm, soft, kind, and love filled kiss on his lips. Ari didn't resist at all as both of them closed their eyes, Ari was surprised but immediately he began to kiss her back as their tongues danced a little with each other. Ari put one of his hands gently on Christa's upper back.

It only lasted for about 15 seconds before they both separated a little, but to both of them it felt like an eternal bliss. When they did separate they both stayed very very close together, neither one of them moved their hands. They could each feel the other's elevated breath on their skin. They both looked each other in the eye with pure love. They both smiled at each other, and each of them had a look that said they had been waiting to do that for a long time.

Christa: You have no idea how long I've wanted to do that.

Ari: I've waited for a long time as well, Christa.

Then Ari said something they had also been waiting for a long time to hear.

Ari: I love you, Christa Lenz.

Christa smiled so wide and it almost looked like she was about to cry tears of joy. This made Ari do the same and his eyes started to get watery.

Christa: I love you too, Ari Foerster.

They both brought each other in for another love filled kiss, and both of them thoroughly enjoyed it as their tongues danced together again. Each of them could even feel the other tears of joy and happiness on their faces stream down. Both of them had been waiting for this moment for so long, and now that it was finally here it had been everything they hoped for.

This one lasted for only 20 seconds, but to both of them that didn't matter. As they both separated neither one could tear their eyes away from the other. Ari decided that now was the time, he would ask her to fulfill the dream he'd had ever since they both fed Shasha on the very first day. He was nervous though, even though he knew it was silly to be nervous at this point.
