Leech stood tall, staring down his opposition. The only things standing in the way of his own greatness. His destiny, his purpose, standing right in front of him. He just had to take it, with the upmost force. Derick drew his sword and pointed it at the virus, challenging him in yet another duel.
"You aren't going to get your wish, Leech."
"Oh yeah? And who's exactly going to stop me?"
"All of us. We will all band together, to keep you at bay. Then, when we've got you on the ropes, we're going to wish for your own extinction!" Leech burst out laughing, eyes tearing up with pure joy and delight.
"Ohoho no, no that won't be happening." Leech raised his hand, pointing it forward. However, he didn't aim at Derick. No, he aimed his attack at the crowd of defenseless people. Seeing this, Derick gasped and leaped in front of his citizens. But his desperate attempt to block the attack was in vain, as Leech redirected his hand back towards the other guardians. A burst of energy escaped Leech's palm. Alyson quickly used the remnants of the golden light to create a barrier. Derick crashed into the ground and the energy ball collided with the light barrier simultaneously. Alyson and Catelin choked on the thick smoke, while Jax and Vincent led the counterattack against Leech. The two dashed out of the smoke cloud, Jax pulling ahead. He readied his fist, which began to emanate a freezing aura.
"I'm going to put you on ice you slug!"
"You need better material!" Leech whipped his hand around and caught Jax's arm, halting his punch mere inches from his face. He then twisted his body and flung Jax at Derick, his body pummeling Derick's and knocking them both to the ground.
"Why won't you just die!" Vincent screamed, he charged at Leech with his corrupted blades. Vincent raised his arm to slash through his creation, only to be stopped by its tail.
"You know, I could say the same about you." Leech gave Vincent a smile and a wink before he did away with him in the same manner as Jax. However, he seemingly threw his body at nothing. That is until Daniel and G-1 arrived at the scene, only to be pelted by Vincent. "Now then, let's finish this!"
"Damnit! I'm so sick of this!" Alyson shouted as she launched an arrow of light at Leech's head. But alas, Leech caught it effortlessly, and proceeded to break it between his claws. Alyson, so full of rage and sadness, expected another cocky line from Leech. But it never came. Nor another attack. Not even a cheeky smile. Leech just stared back at her with cold dead eyes. And it was then that Alyson's furious scowl, melted away into a look of pure shock and terror.
"As I was saying." Leech looked up at Shenron. "Dragon! Grant me this one wish! I wish to be the perfect being! To have my powers heightened beyond comprehension! To surpass my limits and achieve the form I was destined to achieve!" There was a pause. A brief moment of silence that held the breaths of every living creature. Then the dragon spoke.
"Your wish has been granted. Farewell." Suddenly, just as quickly as he came, Shenron dematerialized into a flash of green light. With him, the dragon balls all shot into the air, and scattered themselves across the universe. Catelin ran up to where Shenron once floated and shouted out into the heavens.
"GET BACK HERE YOU BIG GREEN SNAKE AND FIX THIS!!!" Then the ground began to shake. A tremendous force had begun to rock the world. Winds started to pick up and the trees and grasses began to shake and billow. Anything not tied down to the ground began to swirl around Leech, like a miniature cyclone. Leech himself shouted into the unknowing sky, powering up his body and readying himself for transformation. His body shrouded in eternal golden light, only a darkened silhouette could be distinguished. His eyes glowed an amazing crimson.
"I just remembered; I left the stove on! Sorry, gotta go! Good luck!" Vincent panicked. He quickly picked himself up and tried to run away. But Daniel grabbed his shoulder and pulled him back down before he could escape.
"Oh, no! You are going to stay here and help us fix this! You got us into this mess, and now you're going to get us out!"
"I'm not ready to die again..." Vincent lamented. Soon the earth started to splinter and crack. Large trenches formed underneath everyone's feet. A force field of energy started to shred anything within its borders. Any unfortunate rock close to Leech was quickly pulverized into nothingness. Eventually the light had appeared to have faded, and Leech's new body had begun to take shape. Gone were his scales of crimson, now replaced by a shimmering gold. His claws and fangs now seemingly larger and sharper. His body, now slightly buffer and more toned, gone was his slenderer appearance. His eyes stayed the burning red they held during his transformation. Lastly, archaic symbols lined Leech's body from head to toe. Strange shapes and lines covering his arms, back, chest, and head. No one knew the origins or meaning of these symbols, no one except for Derick. Leech delicately floated down to touch the sunken earth, looking poised, holy, and self-righteous. Leech looked upon the now inferior life forms before him. He smiled as a flash of hypnotic and brilliant colors splashed his eyes.
"Playtime is over. Now is the time for judgement!"
