(Y/N)'s eyes slowly opened as she awakened, revealing two beautiful (eye color) eyes that glistened in the sunlight. Her exposed skin was relished and soaked in the sunlight gleaming from the guest bedroom window.

She felt so warm, what happened last night? Her mind felt fuzzy, and she felt dizzy.

Her eyes widened as her breath hitched in her throat, her breast being caressed by a hand. Her entire body lay exposed as she felt her back against someone else's chest. None other than Percy Jackson's.

Her legs entangled with his and his chin buried in the crook of her neck. Her mind slowly started drifting to the things that happened the night before.

They kissed, they touched... They made love.

She made love to the very man she was forced to marry. She felt her eyes water, clenching the hand that cupped her breast as she lightly tore it off, escaping his embrace.

She ran upstairs and into the master bedroom. Letting the tears stream down her cheeks, she remembered why this had all happened. They had gotten drunk.

Annabeth's judgemental remarks and stares get the best of them. "

She'll never be good enough for seaweed brain," Annabeth whispered into her father's ear.

Making sure that she heard it.

Percy felt horrible, blaming it on himself. He should've never trusted Annabeth in the first place. Too many glasses of wine and champagne later, there they were, and here she was now.

Percy woke up, missing the warmth that had left him a few seconds ago. His eyes widened as he realized what they had done. What he had done. He raced to put his boxers on and ran upstairs.

He ran inside the bedroom, finding (Y/N) in nothing but her lacy underwear. Her (eye color) eyes glossed with tears as her cheeks remained a rosy red.

"(Y/N) ... I'm so sorry... I let all of this happen and-"

Instead of her slapping him as he expected, she ran up to him and wrapped her arms around him. Like she needed a hug, she needed someone.

"No..." She sniffled, "It's my fault too..."

He was surprised, it took a moment for him to hug her back. Wrapping his arms around the small of her back, his fingers gently traced circles onto her soft skin. She found it soothing despite their situation.

She looked up at him with tears in her eyes, not letting go of him. Ashamed of herself, and the mess that made her. Her hair was a tangled mess yet fell across her shoulders perfectly, Percy didn't understand how she could still be so beautiful.

"Annabeth's wrong you know. I just... I should've never accepted the invitation. I should've known what I was getting myself into..." He spoke softly.

(Y/N) shrugged, "There's nothing we can do about it now."

"Annabeth's always hated me from the start. It's not your fault." (Y/N) said.

"What do you mean?" Percy asked.

"Annabeth and I used to know each other in High school." (Y/N) explained, looking to the side, "She always liked to pick on me..."

Percy winced, "I should've never brought you there... I'm so sorry (Y/N)." He apologized.

She shrugged. "It's not your fault."

Despite her words he still felt guilty, just when they were getting on good terms this whole dinner thing ruined what they had started.

They were just really starting to get to know each other.

He remembered feeling her soft skin against his, his lips locked with hers and the sound of his name escaping her swollen kissed lips. How could he have just taken advantage of her like that?

He might've been drunk, yet he still felt horrible. He wanted to wait for the right time, when she wanted it just as much as him, and when they were both sober of course... the plan seemed to have been completely abandoned.

"What happened last night was just a mistake..." (Y/N) said.

Percy winced. Just a mistake? They had made love last night. Percy might've thought it was an accident, but he knew that it was as simple as just an accident.

He knew that they had to feel something for each other to do what they did last night. There was no justification. On the other hand...

(Y/N) felt like a fool, Annabeth had completely embarrassed her. She didn't remember quite what she had said. Just that it was enough to make her stomach turn.

She felt his silence fill the room and she knew that she probably shouldn't have said such a thing so easily. Like it meant nothing to her when it actually meant everything to her...

What had happened was indeed just a mistake. Was it wrong that maybe, just maybe.... she wanted to make much more mistakes with him, and only him. Percy Jackson was growing on her.

She was beginning to covet him, and she knew it.
