Chapter Sixteen.

Hermione:
"Are you feeling okay Hermione." Asked Harry.

"I'm fine." I said.

"Are you sure, you've been staring at your bowl of cereal, for the past 5 minutes now." Harry said, I could see that he was concerned for me.

"I've just got a lot of stuff on my mind." I told him.

"Well I'm always here if you need to talk." Said Harry.

"Thank you, I think I'll go to the library." I told him, before getting up and leaving.

I couldn't help but think about my conversation I had yesterday with Blaise. Surely I couldn't like Malfoy, we've done nothing but hate each other, since the day we set eyes on each other. It's not until recently that we've started to be civil with each other. I feel that wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for the fact that, I was Blaise's sister.

Thinking about the only reason why Malfoy must have attempted to be polite to me, is cause of my brother. I feel that if I was still Hermione Granger. He would still treat me the same as he has done, all these years. I'm confused about these feelings for him. I clearly couldn't like the guy, not after the past we have, however they do say, there is a thin line between love and hate.

I looked up from where I was to see a smiling Blaise, looking at me. I can tell that's he's in a great mood, just from looking at him. I'm guessing he had a really good talk with Luna.

"Why are you so smiley?" I asked.

"Just been with Luna, she makes me smile, sorry that must sound cheesy." Said Blaise.

"It's fine, it's actually cute. So how did things go with you two?" I asked.

"We just spoke for ages about our dreams & stuff like that. I fount out that Luna wants to travel the world." He said.

"That sounds like a great thing to want to do. It makes sense for her to want to do something like that. A great way for her to try and discover, all these creatures and stuff she believes in." I told him.

"I know but still the idea of seeing all of the world is great." Said Blaise.

"I agree with you on that." I replied.

"We should you know, we've a cruise ship, once we graduate from Hogwarts, we should go travel the world. Invite some friends alone with us?" Asked Blaise.

"I love that idea, we will have to speak to our mother about it when we see her." I said.

"Well I've got to go, I'm suppose to be meeting for Qudditch practice." Said Blaise. He quickly gave me a hug and then left.

I decided to pack away my stuff and head back up to the common room. The only people in here was Pansy, Theo and Neville. I decided to sit down next to Pansy.

"Hey guys." I said.

"Hey." Said Theo.

"Hi Mione." Said Neville.

"Hello Hermione." Said Pansy.

"What's been going of with you lot?" I asked them.

"Well nothing much really but well, me and Theo are now dating." Said Pansy.

"Awww, I'm happy for you both." I said.

"Thank you. So any guy who interests you?" Asked Pansy.

"Nope, yet to find a guy who sparks my interest." I told her.

"I'm sure you will find someone soon." Said Theo.

"I bet that you and Draco would be a cute couple." Said Pansy.

"Him and Hermione. Yes sure if you want another war." Said Neville.

"Well they are both Pureblood now, so their parents couldn't be against it." Said Theo.

"Guys, I'm not going to date Malfoy." I told them.

"It was only a suggestion. So what about you Longbottom?" Said Theo.

"Well I did have a thing for Luna but I don't think she's interested in me. She's mostly with Blaise." Said Neville.

"There plenty of other girls out there for you. " I said.

"Yes I guess you're right." Replied Neville.

"I've got to go Patrol with Malfoy." I said.

"Bye." They said in unison.

I got up and made my way to toward the 7th corridor where I agreed to meet Malfoy. I had been waiting for 1o minutes now, before he even bothered to show up.

"I was starting to think you was going to leave me, to patrol on my own." I said.

"Do you really think, that I would be so cruel to do that to you." Said Malfoy.

"Yes. I honestly think you would." I said.

"Ouch! It's good to know you think so low of me." Said Malfoy in the tone of mock hurt.

"Well can we please just get this over with." I said.

"Sure lets go." Said Malfoy.

We walked along the corridors in pure silent, it seems like no one is out after curfew. As I turn the corner I feel someone grab my hand. I look to see Malfoy looking at the floor, he then quickly lets go of my hand.

"Is there something you wanted to ask me?" I asked.

"No, it doesn't matter anyway." He said, not even bothering to look at me as he spoke.

"Well if you say so, come on we might as well head back to our common room." I said.

He just nodded his head and walks slowly behind me. It's not like him to be this quiet. I can feel his eyes on me, I can't help think back to what Blaise said. Could I really have feelings for this guy. When all we've ever done is argue with each other. We soon reach the wall, where the door is hidden to our common room.

"Unity." I say.

Soon enough the door appears before me. Just as I'm about to walk through the door. I feel my right arm being pulled and next thing I know. I was being held close to the chest of Malfoy. His arms wrapped around my waist. He's lets go and enters through the door, heading straight up to the boys dorm. He didn't even look at me in the eyes at all night. So why would he do that? Is he trying to mess with my feelings and make me more confused. I decided that it was best to just go straight to bed.
