"My name is Arianne Jane Wiskon. Sixteen years of age. Medium height, long natural straight light brown hair. Light blue eyes, pink full lips and dimples on both side of my cheeks. I'm still in highschool, obviously. I work part-time at an ice-cream parlor. I love to read books, take pictures and well go shopping, I mean who doesn't? That's about me, I guess :)" I finishes typing a description about myself in some social networking website. I sighed, closing th laptop. Who am I kidding? Why do I even bother in those stupid sites? I know I woulnd't be interested in the boys I will meet. That's because I believe in destiny. Yes, I repeat, I BELIEVE IN DESTINY. As in I believe that there is only one man out there for me. I belive there is only one love for me. I believe in finding my soulmate. I know, it sounds cheesy and dramatic, but whatever, it's what I believe in. But when will I find him? I mean, I haven't had any boyfriend since birth! Yes! It's true. I haven't experienced what it's like to have a boyfriend, someone to hold you, someone who you can share secrets with, someone who you can cuddled with, and all those other things that will definitely will make your heart smile. Well, I have experienced those but not with a boyfriend. Instead, with a bestfriend. My long-time boy bestfriend who everyone thought I will end up with. But NO. No freaking way. I mean Nathan is a very thoughtful, sweet, attractive and charming person but he isn't just not my type. We've been bff since forever. Many girls envy me though. It's because Nathan is one of the popular and handsome boy in our school and many girls drool over him, literally drool over them. I can't believe the extent to the things they do in order to get his attention. There's this one time, a girl stole his boxers from the gym lockers and left him a note that he could claim his boxers at her house (she left her address!). I mean, gosh! Who the heck would do that? Well, I guess she really is in love. Or obssesed, whichever she prefers. Nathan and I haven't stopped laughing at that for almost a month. My thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a ring on my phone.
"Hey Arr, guess what? Dad just decided to buy me a car for my 18th birthday next week! I know, right? I mean, a car! Well, I was wondering if you could come by at my house tomorrow to help me check out some cars. I need your opinion :)" -Nathan
I smiled. He can be so childish sometimes.
"A car huh? That's good. I won't have to take the bus anymore. Hahaha kidding. Okay, I'll be there at 9am. Your one lucky guy Nate" -Arianne
"Kay. Gotta go now. Football practice. Take care beasty ;)" - Nathan
"Whatever. Break a leg, literally ;)" -Arianne
I put my phone down. I lay on my bed, thinking. When will my soulmate come?
