Her Mission

Zoe's POV

" I just don't understand why you can't just tell my where she is!"

I hate when me and Tyler get into like this, but I'm not telling anyone where she is I just don't feel like that's a safe decision...

"I don't know Tyler" I replied calmly washing the dishes

"You think I'm stupid? If anyone knows where she is; it's you and Kielah"

"Yea that's usually how it goes ... but the girl was kidnapped soooooo?"

"YES!?" He exclaimed at then back of my head as I focused on the dirty dishes

I turned and faced him and leaned back on the kitchen counter, "well, I don't" I said sternly before walking away and slamming the door to our bedroom

Kielah"s POV

"ohhhh shit" I moaned out as I hanged from the cuffs, Samuel softly hit my back with the flogger

*Smack Smack Smack*

"So I have a question" Samuel said slowly hitting me harder and harder

"Yes sir?"

"Where's your friend"

I froze for a second and thought...do I want to snitch because if how good this feels? or do I need to keep my friend safe and now ruin what she has going?

SMACK

"AH I DON'T KNOW" I screamed out at the harsh hit against my back

"Yes you do" he said calmly after the next hit

" I don't know"

"When's the last time you talked to her?"

"I haven't spoken to her since she's been taken" I cried out

"So why does your call log say this?"

He came around in front of me and stared at me as he held my phone in front of my face....my call log...

"You talked to her at 4am this morning"

I gulped and hanged looking stupid as fuck

Nia's POV

I walked through the garden thinking of how much I enjoy being around Manny and wondered why I don't miss Lowe the way I did the day we were taken away from each other...am I wrong for listening to Manny and Chi Chi? But they're not wrong about the things Lowe do so I could I ever trust him to actually love me?

'Nia?" Manny asked

I turned, "uh hey Manny"

"What's on your mind pretty?"

"Uh..." I should just be honest, "I think I want to tell Lowe that I won't be returning

"Hermosa!?" Chi Chi yelled from inside the house

"I'll be right back" Manny stared at the floor in disbelief

I walked in the living room where Chi Chi was sitting talking to a man I never seen at any of the meetings

"So Nia remember I told you I would have new connects that know everything about where Lowe sends his work?"

"Yes"

"Here they are I want you to take on this task"

"What do you mean?"

"You will be finding out who is helping Lowe make his money, and get him handled"

"Why me? I thought Manny was handling this because of what he did to him?"

"Yea but" Manny walked in, "I think it's best you do it because he loves and trust you" Manny said with his head down

"We trust you to get it done Nia plus you're my daughter now and you wouldn't cross me right?" Chi Chi said with a stern yet sure look on his face

"Of course I can get it done" I said surely even though I never thought I would have to go against Lowe ever in my life...

I once loved him and I haven't seen or talked to him in months...The moment I encounter him will I fold?

"So now that we got that out of the way DeSchaun"

We shook hands, "It's nice to meet you, you're Nia right"

"Correct" I said blushing for some odd reason

"Let's get to business" he said smirking looking down at me

He was so tall about 6'5, he was covered in tattoos with a smooth chocolate skin tone...he wore glasses not sure if they are prescribed or not but the man looks too good

I turned to walk him to my office, " Nia?"

I turned to Manny, "Yes?"

"You don't want me to go with you guys?"

"Why would you?" DeSchaun asked, I shivered from his quick response to Manny, I never heard anyone be so stern about a simple yet clearly concerned question

"I asked Nia" Manny replied

"And I answered, she didn't ask so clearly she doesn't" he said sarcastically

Manny looked over to me for a answer, "Maybe our first meeting should be just us" I said in a reassuring way, he nodded and turned to leave

I looked up at DeSchaun, "Good?" He asked

"Yea" why does he care?...
