You jump awake, hitting your head on the lamp" ouch!", you sit up and rub the spot where you hit your head, "yes boss?" Your boss crosses his arms and narrows his eyes"actually, why were you sleeping during your job?" He tapped his foot on the floor.
"Well..." He sighs and holds up his hand"I don't wanna hear your excuses"your boss pulls out his cigarette and lights it. You stood up and fixed your work shirt"sorry boss" he took a puff of his cig and blew the smoke in your face" whatever," you coughed as you swipe the smoke away from your face. He chuckles"I need to show you something..." his playfulness disappeared as his face turned serious as he took another puff.
You raised your eyebrows" what is it?" You questioned him, and he turns away" if you want my number, you could have told me," you said nudging your elbow into his side"I hope you know that you don't have a chance with me, besides I'm not attracted to anyone," he pushed you away.
You two walked down the halls, patients either screaming, sitting, or talking to their assigned doctors. You and the boss walked to a door that was locked up shut with locks and chains"whoa, do we need that much security on a new patient?" Boss walks and unlocks the chains and lock by pressing some buttons.
The door opens, and the dark shadow looms over both of y'all. "Hello, doc..." The man chuckled, boss points a gun at the man's stomach"back up bob." The man, bob backs up letting you and the boss through. Bob notices you"a new snack?" Bob stepped closer"hello darling" you stood tall "did you know...-" you interrupted him" that you got locked up? It's pretty obvious," bob grinned falls as you interrupted him "y/n, you are going to watch over him."
You turned to look at the boss"oh hell Nah" you turned to look at the boss, who was already at the door"this will not be argued, you start tomorrow" boss pulls out another cigarette" are you coming or not?" You groan" you might wanna hurry, ad is late for his medicine," you rush past the boss cursing to yourself, forgetting about all your patients.
You run down the halls to ad's room where ad was being pinned down.
