The date is September first, the sorting of first year students has finished and Dumbledore is about to speak when a note is sent to him by a raven. "I do believe it is time to do something unique among this school" before lowering the letter and listing off The names of five students as a large box is given to him by another raven "Harry Potter, Ginny Weasley, Hermione Granger, Ronald Weasley, and Draco Malfoy " as their heads of house, Severus Snape and Minerva McGonagall collect them Dumbledore leads professor Remus Lupin into the staff room after clapping his hands and signalling for the food to be brought up from the kitchens. Dumbledore sits down and asks a simple question "What do you know of seers, children?" To which a resounding "What?" Is the answer before Dumbledore explains "I was delivered information partaining to a relative of Harry's that I didn't know existed, and was told to share it with all of you due to how Harry has impacted your lives" to which Ginny blushes while Draco is about to complain before a look from Snape silences him and Ron and Hermione stare at harry "This is a relative on your mother's side according to the note, from a distant aunt Elsa who had married a wonderful woman named Isadora Addams" Dumbledore gives harry time to let this sink in before saying "I only learned about this tonight thanks to the letter I had received earlier along with this" as he opens the box that he got in the great hall to reveal a crystal ball within a projector and says "I was told to show the contents within to you harry, as well as the rest of you should you choose. Given that these events have already passed and that I had planned to ask if you wished to go to these relatives on holiday break to know what they are like, this would allow you to learn about them"

Harry gives this time to settle before looking to his friends and Ginny, who give him looks of support before he says "I want Neville to watch with us. He's my friend too and this is something to share with all of them " while Draco is forced to stay by Snape with the words "You may desire to learn more about a supposed enemy" whispered into his ear.

Once Neville is brought to the room the projector is pulled from the box and places on a table as the seats are arranged in a way so that the students and teachers can watch without any issues before harry says "Play it"
