Merida's P.O.V

I ran to the stables and got on Angus. I didn't even care that he didn't have his saddle on. All I cared about was getting away from here. Me and Angus rode faster and faster and we got to the hills. I hoped off and sobbed into the ground.

I woke up and I was gagged and was scared. I saw where I was and tried to scream. As soon as I did I blacked out again.

Hiccup's P.O.V

I was flying when I saw a big boat and a black mare. I heard a muffled scream and swooped down. They were on a dock and unloading a big horse. Then the looters brought out a bag the size of a person. When I saw that, I needed no evidence to see that they kidnapped a girl. "Hello good sirs! I am a guard of this here village and I need to make sure your not smuggling any explosive materials. *shuffles through bag quickly* Alright your all good except you have smuggled a woman!" I said with authority. "Give me the bag in the name of the chief. And that would be me."

After I said this they were already sailing away. "Oh no you don't!" I screamed "Toothless, go boy! We can't let them get away!"

After flying for what seemed like days, but was actually 1 day, I found the ship. I could hear the loud, muffled screams that were probably making them bleed to death. I swooped down, landed on the deck and Toothless scared the men overboard. "Nice bud. Now to find the girl and help her. Lets go. you stay here and keep watch." I walked down stairs and.....

Merida's P.O.V

I was wrestling and biting my captors and the ropes that were on my wrists. "Le-ugh me g-ugh! I wo-ugh stop figh-ugh!!!" I yelled through the gag that was quite tight on my head. When all of a sudden I saw a man, maybe a viking, knocking the looters out and untied me and un-gagged me. "Here, Come with me if you want to go home!" The man about my age said. I took the hand and we went up on the deck and he handed me my bow and arrows. "Thanks." I said. He hopped onto a big, black and scary dragon. I acted fast and loaded my bow with and arrow and aimed at the dragon.

"What are you doing?! Get off and I'll kill it!" I almost let go when he got off and knocked me off of my feet. "WHAT?! NO! YOU WON'T KILL TOOTHLESS! IF YOU WANT HIM, YOU NEED TO GET THROUGH ME FIRST!" The man yelled in my face. "I'm sorry, I just love him. I didn't mean to get all up in your business. My name is Hiccup by the way. Chief of the vikings from Berk. And you've met Toothless. He is a night fury." The man named Hiccup said. "It's ok. If someone did that to Angus, wait, where is he?! ANGUS!!!" I yelled suddenly scared. "He is on the dock with my mom." Hiccup told me and I started to breathe again.

"Oh thank you! My name is Merida. Princess of the clan DunBroch. But if you call me 'Princess' or 'lady', then both of you are goners." I said getting serious at the last part. "Ok Mer. Can I call you that?" He asked me somewhat scared. "Yes. That is ok. Do you know how to get to Scotland?" I was getting kinda nervous. "Me and my mom just going there. You can come with us. We leave in tomorrow. Come on!" He told me while hoping on Toothless and reaching his hand out to me. "Grab my hand..." And I did....
