Larissa Weems x fem reader
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Nevermore Academy is a school for misfits, teenagers with powers or just weird kids. In addition to werewolves, psychics, descendants of Medusa or mermaids and sirens, there were also the shapeshifters. But this did not only consider the students also the individual teachers of the courses and subjects were not simply teachers.
Starting with the principal who was a shapeshifter herself. Larissa Weems. She herself was once a student at the school as well as her colleague and teacher for vision reading. The younger one was only hired after several students including Wednesday didn't quite get along with her visions. So it came that Miss Hellsing was hired. A fresh teacher from the university with pathokinesis. The ability to sense and manipulate emotions. A useful ability, but just as dangerous and untrustworthy as the Sirens.
But this was not the reason why she went with quick steps in the direction of her room. Opening the door, she passed by her students who were already waiting for her. ,,Good morning my dears today we are going to have a different lesson" she started and went to the cupboard with the pendulums that she gave to each student. ,,Who can tell me what we need these for?" she asked, taking out a few pieces of paper before adding them. ,,Yes, Wednesday," she pointed to the Addams and was pleased to see that their daughter Morticia had settled in well. ,,I suppose if we already have the cards here to choose a theme for the ball," came the precise and correct answer. ,,Exactly, our director asked me to choose a theme with your help and I thought this would be the best way" she explained before taking out her own pendulum.
She couldn't see any visions but she would get an answer from the pendulum. ,,So concentrate, look at the cards and focus your power through the pendulum, take your time," she instructed before the students began. After a short observation, she began to take the pendulum and feel her connection to the stone. She felt the pendulum moving in circles and searching for an answer. It searched, searched and searched. ,,Miss Hellsing" suddenly came her name from one of her students.
Opening her eyes, she too saw what the student meant. The pendulum did not point to any of the cards, nor did it seem to move. It had moved in the direction of the photo that stood on her table. An old class photo taken here after her graduation. Next to herself, Morticia pointed the pendulum at a person she knew all too well. Larissa Weems. ,, Ehm well, I should probably ask our principal for a theme" she said jokingly and a few giggling noises and uncertain looks went through the class.
To get out of the situation she went around and evaluated the different results. But the theme was clear. The dance would definitely be cold. ,,So it will be the Yetis," she announced and gave the students an early closing time to spread the news and the ideas. But when the last student had disappeared, she sighed. When her eyes went to the photos. She knew exactly why the pendulum went to Weems. Back then, several decades ago, there had already been the Rab dance. But even then her heart seemed to have fallen for the blonde. What she hoped was just a summer love affair, she had to realize that after she started here again her heart beat just as fast when she saw the now older Larissa.
It had even gone so far in the most desperate moments that she had diverted her feelings herself to forget her hopelessness. But this was always only a temporary solution. To detach herself from the photo, however, she knew that perhaps there was a small chance that one might dance among colleagues. Her heart had never given up hope.
So it also happened that only a few weeks later she found herself in the large hall with the other teachers and students. White decorations, garlands, balloons and the dj Mcbloodsucker with the giant yeti in the background rounded off the picture. ,,It's really beautiful," she said to Marilyn, and the glasses-wearing girl nodded excitedly. ,,It really couldn't have been more beautiful," she said and made a delighted noise when she saw Wednesday before she ran there.
But the Hellsing's gaze passed through the crowd before she found her target. ,,Good evening Weems" she said and gave the director a smile. ,,Please, Larissa, my dear, we have known each other for too long," she said and briefly put a hand on the smaller one's shoulder. Her heart beat faster as she watched the taller one. Everything about her was perfect and beautiful. ,,You look beautiful" came faster over her lips than she could think.
A touched smile and a short stroke over her golden brooch Larissa tried to cover. ,,Thank you...it was always difficult for me to find something" she admitted and the little one nodded in understanding. Before they both looked over the dance floor and realized that there were a few start ups. ,,It seems our little ravens don't want to fly," she heard Larissa murmur and saw discomfort in her eyes. She looked at her hands knowing that if she touched Larissa she could understand her better and maybe help her.
But the fear of rejection was also there. ,,Would you like to do the beginning with me?" she asked at last and her heart seemed to have never beaten so fast with nervousness. For a moment there was astonishment in the eyes of the taller one and the small one was afraid that she would say no because of her abilities. ,,I thought you'd never ask," it came over the red lipstick colored lips before she reached for the younger's hand. Taking her to the dance floor knew what Larissa wanted to dance. ,,I've always wanted to dance the waltz," she admitted mischievously.
But it was fear that came over the younger one. And she saw how Larissa seemed to notice it. ,,What's wrong?" she asked, looking down at her. None of them seemed to notice the looks of the students and teachers who had formed a circle around them. They were eager to see what would happen. ,,What about my abilities, I could force you or hurt you or-" but Weem interrupted her with a light squeeze of her hands. ,,I was never afraid of your abilities...I was just afraid at the time that you would reject me," she admitted, and wonder and relief were in the Hellsing's eyes. ,,Well, a shapeshifter can't be trusted just like a pathokine, can she?" Weems said with a slight giggle and the younger one knew that all her worries and fears were insignificant. ,,You can feel it," Weems said as she grabbed the younger's hand again and began to move across the dance floor.
Dancing the waltz with her, she began to use her skills. At first it was joy that she felt, the joy of dancing, of the ball, of the students. The rejection and hatred and respect for Morticia. But it was also something she thought she would never feel. Love. Love that Larissa had felt for her after Morticia met Gomez. How she understood her feelings but the fear of rejection. The massive hope and joy when she heard the news of her arrival.
The love she now felt for her. But the smaller one did the same. Gave her feelings to Larissa, made her understand her fears, her joy and her hopes. ,,I should have just asked you," she said, watching Larissa fascinated by her abilities. They had never been so close. It seemed as if the dance blurred with the music and only the two of them moved across the dance floor.
As Larissa led them, loving yet knowing what she was doing. As they turned, she seemed to have eyes only for each other. She felt how Weems lovingly held her hand. She revealed her feelings and the younger one shared hers as well. Their hearts seemed to beat in unison. Then a few moments later, when the dance ended and they were both breathing slightly faster, still standing hand in hand in front of each other, there was this one moment. She saw Weems looking at her lips and her eyes had a certain shine.
A tentative nod from the smaller one before she stood on her tiptoes to be kissed by Larissa. Larissa pulled her closer and the younger one held on to the dress of the older one. Only when they broke away from each other and she saw Larissa's smirk, she ran her lips over the younger one's lips. Only when silence had settled in did the students around them begin to clap and cheer. ,,You can't change us out, can you?" she said and Larissa giggled lightly. ,,I should have asked you much sooner," the taller one confessed before leaning down and kissing the younger one again. The whole ball seemed to be a real success.
