(Chapter 91) Bullseye.

Xesh stands among his dead comrades, blankly staring into your soul.

RHT: Nothing? Heh, not even a single ounce of despair. You really are something else.
XSH: You wouldn't understand.
RHT: It doesn't make a difference. The difference in our power is great. Even you should be able to see that. Surrender now and I'll spare your life.
XSH: Surrender... what is that..?
RHT: Tsk, so we're going to act mighty now, huh? That's fine by me. I was hoping you wouldn't.

You dash towards Xesh at high speeds, swinging your blade. He dodges swiftly and fires his revolver. You parry the bullets and move around for another attack. You manage to get close and swing your blade. He disappears from sight and reappears behind you. Xesh fires rounds into your back. You back up and heal your wounds.

XSH: Finished already, harbinger?
RHT: You have a big mouth for a corpse.

You lunge towards Xesh, moving unpredictably. He reads every one of your moves and dodges. You slash projectiles towards him. He moves in between and runs towards you. He fires his revolver and makes an opening. As you were blocking those bullets, Xesh catches you off guard and grabs your blade. You're unable to move. He aims his revolver on your eye.

XSH: Bullseye.
*BANG*

The bullet penetrates your skull, leaving a gaping hole. Despite this, you manage to remain conscious.

XSH: I wasn't expecting a bullet to take you down.
RHT: Don't get too cocky.

You take the scarf off of your arm and wrap it around your head. Xeshs' expression still hasn't changed from that emotionless stare. You pick up your blades and dash towards him. He maneuvers around. You swing your blades. He manages to dodge them but you left scratches on his skin.

RHT: Your speed is dropping.
XSH: I'm just giving you a chance.

Xesh dashes forwards. You react in time to block the bullets. Xesh uses ghost step to get behind you. He fires multiple rounds. You summon your clone in time to tank all the bullets. Xesh backs up. You notice something's off about him.

RHT: (Huh?! His wounds... where are they?!)
XSH: What's it now? Worrying about unnecessary things like always?
RHT: Tsk! Explain where your wounds went!
XSH: Why would I do that?
RHT: You don't have healing abilities! So tell me, how did you get rid of them?!
XSH: Who said I didn't have healing powers?
RHT: But your soul... isn't made up of kindness.
XSH: Your soul identifying abilities are useful. Too bad they can't read through the abilities aswell.
RHT: What do you mean?
XSH: It's better if I show you. Ignite.

Xesh holds his hand out and sets it ablaze. You look in disbelief. He drops his gun to the ground and holds his other hand out.

XSH: Discharge.

Bolts of electricity start zipping around him. You can't believe it.

RHT: You can use elemental powers..?!
XSH: That's right.
RHT: And have unique soul power..?!
XSH: Mhmm.
RHT: You're not a human... nor a monster... you're one of them... a hybrid.
XSH: Right on target.

You don't believe what you're seeing at the moment but you snap back and grip your blades firmly. Xesh pushes aside his gun and cracks his knuckles.
