Ralsei blinked a few times before finally looking down at the food he was given. It wasn't like anything he had ever seen before. He used the metallic version of a utensil he would otherwise summon magic versions of. The taste was entirely new, almost impossible to describe, though he liked it.

He looked down at the manual and looked at the papers attached with a paper clip. They were detailed drawings of Ralsei and Kris, and it looked like Kris spent a lot of time on them.

When he finished, he took the surprisingly detailed paper and the plate to wash it. He went downstairs to the 'sink' as seen in the drawing, turned the leftmost knob 40°, and the rightmost knob 60°. He placed the 'plate' under the running water, and, pouring a few drops of the purple liquid on the plate, scrubbed it using a glove that covered his hand, but didn't allow any fur to get on it. When the plate was cleaned, he put it with the other clean dishes beside the sink. Though he wasn't instructed to, he finished the rest of the dishes this way.

The paper was filled with instructions (under the optional section) on how to do laundry, clean the floor, and even smaller tasks such as cleaning trash from the floor and putting it in the bin. Even though all of this was optional, he made sure to do his best finishing all of them. When he was done, he turned the paper to the back, and in big letters it said "I'm guessing you did all of the optional chores by this point." Before returning to the normal size. "There's not really much else to do besides reading a book or bathing."

He read the detailed instructions on bathing, feeling embarrassed at the amount of detail in it, before deciding he'd do this before he read a book. It also instructed him to get a pair of clothes from in Kris's drawer, specifically the fancy looking tuxedo that had Ralsei's name imbedded into the shirt pocket. He said that those were the only pair that Ralsei would realistically be able to fit. He was also instructed to take a pair of underwear from Asriel's drawer.

Once retrieving the clothes, Ralsei looked at the clock. It was 12:06 exactly. Ralsei walked downstairs with the clothes in his hands, studied the instructions carefully until he was confident he learned them. At the bottom of the page, he read "p.s. I love you. I'll be home around 2:00... You can put this paper in the bin now. Make sure to rip it into many small pieces."

Ralsei ripped the pages up, and put them in the bin, before hesitantly entering the bathroom, turning on the water, and doing exactly as he read in the paper. He found the process tedious, though the results were hard to argue with. He felt a lot cleaner than he ever did drinking those vials, though, he missed the convenience and the smell. The instructions didn't have room to tell him how to use a towel, though he was able to get the hang of it.

He brushed his fur down so it didn't poof up, and exited the bathroom. Instead of reading a book, he sat down on the couch and patiently waited the rest of the time. He felt proud of himself for learning so much about this world even though it was through simple instructions.

He felt hungry, and, looking at the clock, he had enough time to prepare food for himself, but he had forgotten all about the cooking section on the instructions. Perhaps he was meant to shower after he had eaten.

Even though he had no prior experience cooking food from this world, he did know how to work a cauldron, and the clean pot sitting on the stove was close enough.

He walked up to the sink and filled the pot about halfway with water, and figured out how to turn up the heat on the stove. Once he was done, he read the back of the package, which again, had instructions on it. It was actually incredibly simple to do, and he was able to decently cook the noodles, using the extra ingredients listed.

After the noodles were soft enough, he slowly drained the water from the pot into the sink. As he did this, he burned his arm a bit and almost spilled a lot of water onto the floor. He kept his cool and set the put down the pot, and hurried to run his arm under cool water. When it felt better, he wrapped his hand in what had a note on it (in Kris's handwriting) "use this if you burn yourself, don't wrap it too tightly, and DO NOT HESITATE to tell me about it when I get home."
