Walking hand in hand in Manhattan Street, New York were the middle aged couple Mr and Mrs Bonetti. They decided to take a late afternoon walk to maybe see the sunset. As they were walking Mrs Bonetti just stopped midway.

"What is it love?" Mr Bonetti asked.

"I hear whimpering coming from over there." She said pointing at the pile of boxes.

"Let me check." Mr Bonetti said just to calm his wife down, he slowly approached the boxes and went behind it. "It's a child.....a girl." Mr Bonneti said from behind the box.

"Oh my goodness a child." Mrs Bonetti said as she jumped from where she was standing towards the direction of the box. It was in fact a girl child she was small probably 3 and she was alone looking starved and cold.

"Dear where are your parent?" Mr Bonetti said as he tried touching her but she retracted and started crying even more.

"Don't cry child where is your mummy and daddy?" Mrs Bonetti said softly.

"I can't find my mummy and daddy." She said crying.

"Oh dear." Mrs Bruce said covering her mouth.

"Oh you poor thing, come let's look for mummy and daddy." She said stretching her hand but the girl didn't take it.

"Dear can you give me that chocolate you have in pocket maybe she will follow if I give her." Mrs Bonettu said to Mr Bonetti  who frowned.

"But I was going to eat it." Mr Bruce said.

"Matteo chocolate now."  Mrs Bruce said authoritatively.

"Okay." Mr Bonetti said and put his hand in his right pocket and brought the chocolate then gave it to his wife. The girl looked at the chocolate with a yearning look on her face.

"Do you want it love?" Mrs Bonetti asked and the girl nodded. "Will you follow to look for mummy and daddy if I give you?" She asked again and the girl nodded eyes fixed in the chocolate.

"Okay came let's go." Mrs Bonetti said again and the girl took the chocolate and followed the couple.

"What is your name dear." Matteo asked the girl in between them.

"Mia". She said.

"Okay Mia where did you last she your mummy." Mrs Bonetti asked.

"Over there." She pointed to spot where the cotton candy was sold.

"So how do you loss them." Matteo asked again.

"I was playing with my brother and I didn't see anyone again they were just gone." She said about to cry.

"Don't cry love we will find them okay," Mia nodded licking her fingers. They searched the full street but they couldn't find Mia's parents they asked everyone around them but none said they were her parent nor did they say they know where her parents were.

"Dear we can't find anyone." Matteo said to his wife but she didn't speak after some time.

"Dear can we keep her?" Mrs Bonetti asked her with pleading eyes.

"Keep her? We already have two what do we want to do with another one?" He asked her looking shocked.

"But love she is alone." She said.

"Not happening Marina I will not agree to this?" Matteo said.

"But Love we find something to use her for later please love." Marina begged again holding his hand.
