September, 16th 2000 a woman is stuck in the maternity ward going into labor. Her husband is on his way although he doesn't know if he'll make it. She gives birth to her baby alone. Okay here they come! Said a doctor pulling me from the womb light blinded me from lamps above. Oh look at that it's a beautiful baby girl she said handing me to the nurse. Sir there is something wrong? What's wrong with my baby?!! My mother screamed trying to pull the IV from her arm. My heart felt strange but what could I do I was just a baby. Her heart is slowing down, I began to hear something it sounded weird and although I don't remember if it was or not but I believe it was Wonderwall by Oasis playing on the hospital radio. It's the music! The doctor shouted turn off the music! The nurse scrambled over to the speaker and unplugged something on the back of it. Is she okay?!! My mom shouted still attempting to pull her IV out, she seems like she's stabilized said the doctor patting my behind. Get me a tank in here right away nurse she said snapping her fingers. Here miss I'm sorry the doctor said wrapping me up and handing me to my mother, Look at you my mom said taking me in her hand. Are you sure she is fine? It appears so but we'll have to run some tests on her. I've never seen anything like this before. It appears the music was harming her heart in a way. Please excuse me I must go talk to someone about this nurse take care of anything she needs I'll go get another nurse on my way out. Thank you doctor, your welcome Mrs. Mason she said before walking out of the room. Please excuse Dr. Ash she is always curious about anything relating to babies said the nurse brining in a tank like thing that resembled something from Star Wars. I know you would like to hold your baby longer but I'm afraid I'll have to put her in this. It'll drown out the sound of anything for the time being. I understand nurse said my mom handing me to her, alright here we go said the nurse lifting me into the tank. Don't worry girly I promise if something is wrong Dr. Ash will find out. My mother waited until my father got there the two embraced each other and couldn't sleep a wink because of fear that something was wrong with me. Hours later Dr. Ash walked through the door, nurse Alice had just got done changing my diaper and shut the tank. Oh thank god Dr. Ash is there anything wrong with my baby?!! She pulled up a loud rolly chair that sounded like it needed to be oiled. I'm afraid your baby has a rare heart defect, we aren't sure but there has only been one other case like this before and the baby died not too long after because no body knew about it. But I believe music has to do with it she said pushing up her glasses and frowning.
