"Alright, good night, my lovely servant~," Izana said as he turned off the light on the nightstand. Kakucho looked up after he closed his book. "You know, having the nickname servant from your partner isn't the best way to lead a relationship." "Why? It makes sense, I'm your king, so you're my servant," Izana replied nonchalantly. "Well, my name still exists," Kakucho went down and placed a light kiss on Izana's cheek, "Goodnight, my king." Izana was already asleep by the time Kakucho started his long dialogue, but a smile formed in response from the touch. Kakucho also snugged into the blankets, drifting off to sleep. All was quiet through the night until the dream came back. Much more like a nightmare. Kakucho broke into a cold sweat. He didn't want to move and risk waking up the other. Even though he had had this dream several times before, something was intriguing to him about it at the moment. He was never able to finish the dream practically due to him waking up by instinct or his alarm. Now, he wanted to find the end and see how far the rabbit whole goes. It was a brave thing for him to do. Maybe the boost of courage came from knowing he was safe with Izana if anything were to happen. Although it might be true, the illusion never failed to make him scared.
He didn't know how he got there, but there he was, lying on the cold ground. He couldn't make out the scene fully of what was happening, but all he knew was that he was bleeding out. Next to him was his king, his dearest. Izana. Also, bleeding out. They were both fading in and out of consciousness. Then the black haired male finally said, "Why would you do that for me? I'm just a servant." This was around the part where Kakucho would usually wake up without hearing the other's answer. But now was his time to hear it. "Because you're all I have." Tears were forming in the other's eyes. Kakucho moved his hand and grabbed Izana's. As if it were on command, Kakucho woke up. But he wasn't the only one. He spotted faint purple eyes being revealed due to the moonlight illuminating them. Seems like he did wake up the smaller. "Sorry if I woke you up," Kakucho apologized in a very soft, quiet voice. "Kaku, you know you can tell me anything, right?" The platinum haired male spoke the get right to the point. His voice was also soft yet more tired. Kakucho trusted Izana as his friend and partner, but he didn't know if he wanted to mention something so frightening. Yet, his heart was telling him to sail the other way. Perhaps it was time to vent to Izana about his troubles. He took a deep breath and finally responded. "It's just...I've been having these issues with my sleep, and they're all from one dream," it was a first how Izana didn't remark. Instead, it looked like he was listening carefully to every word the raven had to say, "And it was terrifying how it ended because you and I were..". Izana got the memo and didn't insist on pushing the taller any farther for he say, for his heterochromatic eyes were starting to get glossy. The purple-eyed man knew he wasn't the best with words but he couldn't see Kakucho on the verge of a panic attack. Out of impulse, he moved closer to the taller and wrapped his arms around the other, offering a hug.
"I may not be the best at this "comforting" type of thing, but I don't want to see you cry. Everything's fine. I mean we are both alive right." Izana said closing his eyes. Kakucho wasn't focused on what Izana said. He was focused on how he comforted him in the situation, which is very rare to see from his white-haired friend. His breathing slowed down and before he knew it he drifted off to sleep. Not experiencing the nightmare anymore throughout the night.
