Harry woke up when the light started shining through the window and groaned.
He didn't want to wake up but when he heard a chuckle from besides him he looked up through squinted eyes.
"Good morning kitten." A deep voice said, making Harry purr in delight and snuggle closer.
"Now I know you like my morning voice. Come on kitten, we have to go downstairs for breakfast." Tom said, slipping into Parseltongue halfway through the sentence.
Harry mewled when Tom pulled away from him and at the loss of warmth.
He sat up pouting at his mate.
Tom looked at Harry and smiled sweetly, but the look in his eyes showed he wasn't truly sorry.
"Kitten, after breakfast I'm going to have Griphook come over and run an inheritance check for you okay?" Tom asked.
Harry nodded and reached his arms out wanting to be carried.
Tom complied and picked up the younger and carried him out the room and down the stairs.
Harry was almost asleep while thinking about some things.
'How did I get mated to my supposed enemy? Am I really Harry Potter? Why did my hair change color? I can't believe I lost my babies. Will Tom accept me after he finds out that I'm already used?'
He was snapped out of his thoughts when tom tickled him lightly and he looked up into the bright red eyes of his mate.
He smiled and giggled when tom kissed his head.
"What do you want to eat kitty?" Tom asked while grabbing a plate.
"Do you have sausage, eggs, and pancakes?" Harry asked.
Tom nodded and put the things his mate wanted on the plate before he sat Harry down on the chair next to his.
Harry started with the pancakes and ate slowly so he didn't make himself sick.
When he was finished with his food, he watched Tom eat.
When Tom was finished he looked to Harry who looked away blushing.
"Are you ready to go get your inheritance checked?" Tom asked.
Harry eagerly nodded.
